Frederic Chopin - Heroic Polonaise, Opus 53 in A Flat Major (piano score and music)

The famous 'Heroic Polonaise' from Chopin earned it's nickname 'Heroic' from a letter his lover George Sand wrote to him, in which she described her feelings with this music: "There is no doubt that such a spirit must be present in the French Revolution. From now on this polonaise should be a symbol, a heroic symbol". Chopin didn't like giving names to his works, but many pianist kept calling it this way. However it maybe, it remains a masterpiece of piano, though difficult to execute flawlessly
