Yup...it is an original. Kevin and Avi wrote it. Fun fact...the falling and upward falling snow trick meant that they all had to learn to lipsynch backwards in the chorus so the filming could be reversed to make it look as if the snow was ascending. It's a really lovely song and the group released the sheet music so other people and choirs could do the song for themselves.
I also recommend their live Popspring 2016 performance. Four songs, three of which are originals. This high quality video is well worth the fifteen minutes.

There have been many of their songs LIVE that just dropped (Hollywood Bowl 2022). They perform Daft Punk, Sound of Silence, and 90s Dance Medley LIVE. . . search out their other songs, too - There's an audio version of "Ghostbusters" out there (older - has Avi instead of Matt) and one of "Greatest Showman" - I wish they were full fledged videos so I could see who was doing what parts, etc. . .. but they're still awesome. They will soon be dropping some new XMas Music in anticipation for their new album and tour. Keep your eyes out! They would put down their individual mics and gather around one mic or no mic and sing the song perfectly. It's amazing when 10 or 12 thousand people are so quite you could hear a pin drop. When they sang the song everyone in the arena or venue could hear every word. It's magical.
Do yourself a favor and hit up Shoshana Bean and Scott Hoying "All to Me". Tho it's only Scott from Pentatonix...the riffs and runs by both artist are simply amazing. Plus the song itself is brilliant! Also check out Todrick Hall featuring Pentatonix "The Wizard of Ahhhs". Lovely the way it's all put together with songs that reflect the characters.

They recorded "My Heart with You" last year and it is one of my faves. "Run to You" was one of my faves until I heard "My Heart with You". Definitely need Anchor! I'm still gutted that there's no music video for it. Very few reactors react to audio only, which is criminal in this case. Anchor is my favourite song by any artist ever. It's beyond beautiful 😍

A question for Pentaholics who've been to their concerts in the last few years - do they still perform this song in concert? I ask because it was mostly written by Avi, and there were restrictions about the performance of any songs he wrote or co-wrote. Some of those contractural restrictions (mostly against Avi apparently) supposedly expired a couple of years ago (the terms of his legal departure from PTX have never been revealed, just rumors floating, so we don't know anything for sure).

Do you react to music of a different language? If so, you might listen to the music of Juan Gabriel. He is a legend for the country of Mexico. The song in particular is “ Amor Eterno “ ( Eternal Love ). There is a video with the lyric translations.
