  • Parameter change from BOP-2 takes time. There is a shortcut way to change parameter within very short time.

    How can I turn the sense of the motor (turn right or left) only with the G120C panel (parameters, no inputs)?

    Thank you for the video. When I press the upper arrow, it takes me to your screen at 2:41, which in my cases, displays SP 812.5 on both rows. Can you please explain what this means?

      Well it is nothing but the speed/rpm set point (1st row) to your drive and actual speed feedback (2nd row) of your drive. Speed setpoint may be either through remote AI source (V,mA or variable pot) signal or from your VFD fixed speed para.

    What is the RAM UP parameter that you set to 1120?
    Is it the RPMS of the motor? And also tell me what does 5 seconds mean? It means the time to start the motor?

      p1120 is : Ramp function generator ramp up time.
      Means : The speed setpoint from standstill (speed setpoint = 0) up to the maximum speed (p1082) in this time.
      For easier understanding I will calculate with 1500rpm as max. speed (p1082) and ramp up time (p1120) = 5 sec as i given in this video.
      Let say; Start form zero to (max) 1500 rpm in 5 secs.
      So the drive will take 5 secs to accelerate from 0rpm to 1500rpm.
      If you configure the drive such that it's 1st or initial rpm setpoint with start command will be 750rpm then it will take 2.5 secs for the drive to accelerate from 0rpm to 750rpm.
      To reach your first setpoint 750rpm from standstill it will take 5s/1500rpm*750rpm=2.5 secs.
      Now your drive is running at 750rpm.
      In this 750rpm running condition If you give your next or 2nd setpoint rpm say 1200rpm then to reach the 2nd setpoint 1200rpm from 750rpm it will take 5secs/1500rpm*(1200rpm-750rpm) = 1.5secs.

    I wanted to run my drive in without ai I only want run my drive via keypad refference what I need to do please tell with parameters

      For running from keypad - simply press on HAND/AUTO button of keypad. Then use green (I) button to start and Red (O) button to stop.
      If you need start by DI instead of AI setpoint then the thing is different.

      Ye PM ka model ka upar depend nahi karta hai, yeh CU matlab control unit ka model ka upar depend karta hai yaar.

    My Siemens G120P drive is showing is showing f01910 fault. Which parameter to change to bypass this fault?

      Your device using fieldbus communication or you are using hardware input, output for control, start/stop, rpm change your motor. Please tell in details.

      I am using both hardware i/o for starting stopping, rpm change & fieldbus communication for soft integration and getting data like current drawn, frequency etc.

      @@mohammadzaid5375 then check your communication cable laying. Keep it separate from power cable and earth/ground the shield properly.

      Is there any way we can bypass/acknowledge this fault?

      @@mohammadzaid5375 you can try by increasing fieldbus monitoring time P2040. If your communication cable get interference, then P2040 would not work also. You must have to eliminate the interference by using cable shielding properly or by drawing the communication cable through GI conduit pipe or by taking the communication cable away from thd power cable.
