Just found this video, thank you for the information; it's great to see an example of the two anodes and what happens. Just for future reference, if a train goes by, simply stop and wait until it's gone before continuing. Other than that, good info.
Hi John, The surveyor checks the boat inside and out when commissioned to complete a full survey, When the surveyor is commissioned to complete a hull survey they will just look at the outside of the boat.
Very knowledgeable and natural delivery. But ....... please, please, pleeease - wear a tie-clip or lavalier microphone. It will reduce the background noise of trains etc., and a wind muff will cut the plosive sound of the wind.
why have the anodes been fixed to the underneath of the hull, won't they get scrapped off or am l missing something. I am still very much in the learning curve. So positive in your responses please. Correct me in an informative way, thank you
Hi Peter, the boat we used in this video is a Springer, all Springers have v shaped hulls, this may be why they look like the anodes are at the bottom of the boat. All anodes are fitted on the stern and the bow of the boat, hope this helps.

TAYMAN plumb on board electrics
Nice video but don’t get soaked in the rain next time.
Does anybody know how much it would cost to over plate one of these small 24 ft Springers ?
+nic hodgkinson we charge £150 +VAT per foot for replating work at Whilton, other marinas may charge differently however.
Wanted to buy a Narrowboat but it would appear you need very deep pockets to keep it shipshape
Indeed I'm finding that out the hard way
