I meant to get around it sooner, there are a couple videos I'm working on that are ahead of it, but it shouldn't be too long before I make it. Thanks for letting me know, it's useful to know what people are excited to watch
Fresno States arena host a ton of concerts due to its size. It s the biggest arena in the area with a smaller one FS used to use before the save mart center was built downtown. Been to this arena plenty of times and its really nice since its on the edge of campus.
Moby Arena is awesome and gets really loud but it is in need of a renovation as the sound system is abysmal and the video boards haven’t been upgraded since 2012
For the Save Mart Center, basketball really isn't its most ticket selling event. We mostly get concerts and those sell like crazy, especially the spanish concerts. id like for them to put a screen around the stadium to make it more up to date.
Thomas and Mack Center is hoppin when UNLV is good, love the energy there. San Jose State's arena is perfect for them. People forget that we have six D-1 teams within an hour's drive here in the Bay Area.
Yeah, San Jose State is in a very saturated area now that you mention it. With that really nice video board in their arena does look pretty perfect for them. I like their color scheme and logo too
Been to most of these arenas, but not recently. Most of these I visited when their schools were in the Big West. Have not been to Wyo, UNM, AF or Fresno. All solid facilities. Viejas at SDSU is literally built on top of their old Aztec Bowl football stadium, which they used before they moved into Jack Murphy/Qualcomm stadium.
That’s cool to say you’ve been to most of these. I find Viejas super fascinating the way it’s built. I’d love to visit so I could see how it fits into the surrounding landscape
Unfortunately, it is never filled up, unless it's used for a concert. Tarkanian was alble to get a lot of funds for the construction, but the Fresno State Bulldogs have not had a good team , i.e. NCAA tournament since Jerry Tarkanian left. It is nice inside, but the community support is lacking. Great place to go to a concert. though.
I’ve been to 3 of these arenas. I’m born and raised in Vegas so the TMC is an easy check off. Now here’s my favorite part. Arena-Auditorium(still called to this day) and Moby Arena I been to. The AA I had basketball camp there twice (94 & 95) when I was little. Moby Arena I was there when I was a toddler. My uncle played college basketball for the University of Wyoming in 89 & 90. I barely remember because I was 2-3 years old lol
The 2nd pronunciation of Viejas is correct. It was built into the old Aztec Bowl, which was the home of the football team until 1967. The football team then moved to San Diego Stadium, home of the Padres and Chargers. The Stadium name was changed to Jack Murphy Stadium, which became Qualcomm Stadium, and finally SDCCU Stadium. SDCCU Stadium was demolished and replaced by Snapdragon stadium, which you already did a video of.
The Pit at New Mexico is legendary. So loud you can’t hear yourself scream!
Can't wait for the Sunbelt basketball stadiums

The outside of Air Force's arena, literally, looks like a Kolh's

Nice, always good to hear from someone that’s actually been there!
@@_WastedPotential same could be said for san diegos states viejas arena. since SD needs a new modern arena to replace the one by the airport.

As a student at CSU though I love it, the annual Orange out games are the best
can you do southwest athletic conference football stadiums
For sure, may nit but for a little bit but it’s definitely in the pipeline!

You should go back and rank the arenas and stadiums of these conferences.
Will be done, not for a little while but I definitely plan on doing it. Hoping to improve my videos quality first. Appreciate the suggestion!

Utah states student section gets crazy. I'd say Utah state, San diego state, and New mexico definitely have the best environments.
I completely agree with your take, honestly all around the Mountain west has a really solid environment. One of my favs so far to go over
Agree! Go Aggies!

2018 Basketball team was pretty solid, although the games I went to weren't sold out

Thomas & Mack Center used to be 18,500 until it was redone due to guidelines of the ADA Act law.
Interesting I missed that. Still a good size now no doubt
SDSU💪🏼
