I absolutely love mine so far! Had it for a couple months and have around 400 miles on it so far and it's been great. Can't wait to throw some different tires on it

That's awesome! It sounds like you're really enjoying your Segway so far. Adding different tires would definitely enhance your riding experience. Speaking of Segway, have you checked out their Portable PowerStation Cube Series? It's perfect for outdoor adventures and backup power needs. It offers massive capacity, powerful output, and fast recharging. Definitely worth considering for your outdoor gear collection!
I have a 23 Segway with 34in sticky tires. I have the Rock/mud upgraded clutch kit from MSC in mine. I have belt slip when doing aggressive hill and rock climbs. Going up Trail 15 at Windrock. I had to stop twice and let the belt cool, it slipped badly. 32in is as tall as I would go for tires. That is what Im going to next time.
I have a pro r ultimate launch edition and my pops hate driving with me lol and he was looking for a utv for $20k just to join me and I showed him everything under the sun and he said nope on everything I even showed him the cf moto and the last one I showed him was this and his eyes lit up so I did my homework on it and found out for the money this machine can not be beat period especially with all the accessories it comes with that you would normally have to buy on any other machine. It comes with turn signal horn winch etc. I even joined the forums for this thing to ask people what the problems are and only one thing came up and that was the heat shield around the headers I believe but it's been fixed. So soon he's getting a white red wx. Can't wait I'm taking this thing up the chute at sand hollow when we gets it lol.
Bang for buck, it's a got all the creature comforts you would want and more. Plus it's very stable and very hard to overdrive. We're excited to see the aftermarket industry adopt this into their line up for parts as well. Congrats to your pops.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts! I completely agree, the Segway Portable PowerStation Cube Series is indeed a great machine with impressive power and value for the price. It's reliable and perfect for outdoor enthusiasts like us who value quality family time and camping experiences. I highly recommend checking it out!
Thank you for sharing your thoughts on the "2023 Segway Villain Shakedown" video! While that video focuses on a Segway model for transportation, let me recommend the Segway Portable PowerStation Cube Series for outdoor enthusiasts like us. It's a versatile powerhouse with a massive capacity, powerful output, and fast recharging capabilities. Its armor design and waterproof technology make it perfect for all our outdoor adventures. Check it out!
We've changed the belts out twice on our end, but not due to failure. First time was after we ran it through water for a few trips and we wanted to make sure to start with a fresh belt. The second time was before UTV Takeover so it was on our pre-checklist before we raced it. All in all the parts and the vehicle have been holding up great. Really surpassing our expectations.
It really depends on what your needs, and of course price range is. Many will say this is the great for them because it's perfectly balanced and loaded off the lot. The gearheads will say it will always need more. With that, we're excited to see how the aftermarket industry will run with these UTV's. On our end... we already have lots of ideas LOL
How loud are these things? Not familiar with em. Is there anything like this that would be quiet when you drive it. I would want to drive this at night but would not want to wake everyone up driving it. Is there anything like that on the market?
Check out sound clips of stock UTV's and SXS on youtube. it'll give you a good idea on how loud they are. People drive them day/night in areas where they're street legal, for reference.
Glad it can drive around in sand lol 😂 makes me want to get one now - do a review go though some whoops n climb some hills , jump it a little bit , ride the dunes - maybe those things would have made the wheels fall off .
hmmm...nobody jet gave a clear comparison who is the master inthe only athmopheric category , the testguy always compare to turbos...but this are 2 differnd categorys
I personally thought it was very comfortable, BUT that door that opens partially was so annoying and at the time there were no apps to make the big screen worth it or aftermarket accessories made me pass on it.
fair enough, that's a good assessment! Wait till you see the doors that are getting made for our UTV Source Segway 😎. Apps will be updated as well, and it's a VERY new vehicle, so keep that in mind. More aftermarket support will come, and we're seeing them now.
I'd like to see this get abused in Glamis. While I'm sure yall held nothing back and beat on them. Hard dune riding is really a testament. Between the heat and nonstop throttle. I'd enjoy watching how these handle steep transitions, g-outs, etc. Cool machine and for the price point opens up that door for many new to the SxS without breaking the bank.. however.. I'd be hard pressed to say a seasoned dune rider would buy this over a Pro R, or Canam R. But for entry.. I'd take this over a Speed Utv..
We ran it through EVERYTHING at Sand Hollow last month. Rock crawling, dunes, even hucked it through flames LOL. Haven't had an issue with ours yet. Everyone's got their preference, but for the price the Villain is great for folks who want to get out and enjoy the trails without breaking the bank. It's not for everyone, but it's truly a solid machine.
Picking up my 2023 Villain in Maryland on Saturday! First SXS. Super excited.
Wow, congrats on your new toy! We hope to see you out on the trails!
I love mine!
Some GREAT looking tires on that green Villain! 😎😎
Sure are!

Great video! Where did you guys film? What trails?
Coos Bay, OR
What sand tires are you running on it?
I can answer your curiosity on the trails with the Segway. Rides the trails with no disappointment.
For this test the all black Segway had EFX Sandslingers on them (front and rear) www.utvsource.com/efx-tires-sandslinger-utv-tire/
simple saying....is he the best stock NONturbo machine of the market ?
