YESSS!! Getting the four wheeler stuck in the mud is WAY better than video games!! Hopefully they are also learning car and maintenance of said vehicles! And that young lady's smile would melt the snow for three counties around.
One thing that always stands out in your videos, is you take time to spend with your children. I think you have a future farmer in Ila, but there is no doubt she is daddy's little girl. Farm on!
Also he always talked with Ila before moving any equipment to be sure that she would not get run over. Good daddy. P.S. Seed corn is not "candy". Good discussion with Ila.
I second the motion to highlight Jim. Also, kudos on demonstrating (without being preachy) your consistent focus on farm safety, including the need to teach children the host of unseen dangers as well as the big ones. I love that Miss Isla chooses to spend time with you and that you reward her with actual (versus feigned) loving attention. You do good work, Dad.
Although pretty much all youtube family video's will tend to highlight the best out of the day, you can often tell when the kids are not behaving naturally or are putting on a show. Or the parents are pretending for the camera here. However with zach, I get really no hint of that whatsoever. And after watching them for quite a while it seems like the family would seem very familiar to any one to see in real life verses how they portray on the videos.
Awesome. Beautiful Daughter. Oh how fast they grow up. Glad to see you with her. One day you will blink and she will be graduating. Treasure these years!
I do allot of repair work on Bobcat equipment at local farms. I greatly appreciate the generosity of farmers. It’s very nice to have a warm dry place to work on equipment.
Those farmers depend on that equipment and the investment they have in them. Having a happy mechanic to rely on is even more important to protect that investment. I do IT work and computer repairs in the home and i get some of that same treatment by business owners who rely on their computer equipment for a livelihood way more than just home users.
Chet , Im so sorry for your loss and believe me I know the pain your going through and I'l continue to pray for you and everyone that Loved her. God Bless ! Kyle
Nothing better than having kids that would rather spend time with you, doing even the boring chores, just to be with you. Your kids give me the giggles when they say things like "That tiny thing?" when it comes to big equipment. She's going to be a farmer like you. Yes, I know they aren't perfect, as we don't see the fights with the siblings and the sass from time to time with the parents. It happens. Keep up the fantastic work with your munchkins, and hoping to see more.
Tire pressure gauge from Amazon, had this same gauge for a few years and I love it , AstroAI Digital Tire Pressure Gauge 150 PSI 4 Settings for Car Truck Bicycle with Backlit LCD and Non-Slip Grip, Silver (1 Pack)
We love our digital craftsman tire pressure gages. Have had them for years and they work great, of course we have to carry two different ones around everywhere so that we always have the right head to get onto the valve stem. One has a straight chuck and the other one rotates so between the two one will always work!
I really appreciate your comment about the stuck ATV , I grew up on a farm , became an engineer ... 30 years later a CEO but still maintain a complete working shop both wood and metal and a large vegetable garden an orchard and vineyard . My grandchildren play video games the only thing that they really enjoy outside is Granny’s pool?
Hey Zach you need a Cornwell air pressure gauge and we’ve-had one for about 4 years and all we have had to do is change the battery’s very impressed on how well it works.
What a nice sweet send off. You have some nice kids. Thank you for showing us some of your life around the farm. Take care - be safe - hope the family and you are doing well. Tom (Spin)
You guys are almost ready to roll for this year. Here in Middle Georgia, I saw some corn almost 6 inches tall this past week. Farmers are going full tilt planting now.
Hey Zach, I really enjoy your videos and the experiences your share on your channel. What I don’t enjoy is your sarcastic comments about kids and video games. Not all of us have access to hundreds of acres and all kinds of toys that mom and dad provide for them. Some of the smartest people in the tech world now, started by messing around with computers and video games. They aren’t all bad and kids all have different interest. Thanks
I just purchased a rapid air K3015 automatic tire gauge. It’s pretty awesome. You set the pressure you want and it automatically inflates or deflates the tire until its right. My son loves it! It’s pretty pricey but so is everything these days. If it will just hold up it will definitely be worth it.
I haven't heard an update for a long time: how's your dad's knees doing? He seems to be moving pretty good... I'm glad to see you worry about your kids when you are moving machinery around. I'm sure you've always done that, but I haven't seen it in a video before. It would scare me to death to have all the little ones running around in the same area as the tractors. Not to mention the dogs. Heck, it scares me to back up my Subaru from my parking spot. Great video. Only you can make selecting the right size bolt entertaining. :)
Zach anytime you use a airchuck on a tire that has fluid in it, you no longer can use it to check tires except tires that have fluid in them. We always used the chuck that you like the long one.
Zach it was nice of you to explain to your daughter about the treated corn seed, but did you tell her not to touch them because of the poison they are treated with and did you wash her hands. Great videos keep it up and great job Becky for making Zach look so good.
I've used a Matco digital gauge for years and it has worked wonders. Used it on golf carts, wheel loaders, class 8 semis, and everything in between with no issue. The clip is like an inch long into braided line, so you can get it onto valve stems in the damnedest of places. Can connect directly to a hose and functions as a filler gauge as well, but works just fine without (use it quite a bit as a tire deflator when offroading)
We really like using MasterCraft air gauges that hook rights up to the air hose then you can see the pressure as you fill the tire. And also we really like Milwaukee grease guns like it way better than our old johndeere one.
Big Jim is old school just like your dad. He doesn’t run in 1st gear or 5th gear. He is a steady 3rd gear all day long. Hard working honest man that you can set your watch by, runs equipment and CDL license. You better start looking now for his replacement because it’s gonna take a long time to find a man that could even come close to replacing Jim.
Plumb up an air regulator and a hose with an air chuck on the end. Plug your regulator into the air supply and just regulate the air going into the secondary line and stick the air chuck on all the tires. That way, if you hear no air go through, tire full. If you hear air going through, tire low and getting filled up. Saves extra steps too so you don't check, then get the air stuff ready, them go back to all the tires that need it, fill them and then recheck them. Just have a secondary regulator on your air chuck on the wall and regulate a secondary line just for tires. Set your pressure right at the regulator.
We have and use completely different ones in Europe that can be attached straight to the compressor. So when you fill up you can see how much you got in there.
We have those too, but many aren't accurate for long. To just crawl around and check pressure, it's better not to be dragging the hose all over the everywhere.
You definitely got that right about the kids playing outside verse video games. I'm an 80s baby and I don't think I was ever inside the house unless it was to eat sleep and sometimes take a bath LOL. Those were the days though if the street lights came on you better hightail it home or get a whooping when you get there. Nowadays everyone is caught up in their feelings LOL
Get a tire pressure gauge with a rubber hose on it. We used them on heavy aircraft tires and they worked great. Had the same issue with getting into tight spots.
Zack you should do an interview video staring Jim, just to let us know a little bit more about him, he seems like a good guy, just a thought!!! Thanks for the video
Grew up on a farm in west central Minnesota about 80 miles south of you. Always wanted to farm but some how it didn't work out. Love your channel. Get to live vicariously through you.
There’s a huge difference between farm kids and kids that don’t live on a farm. Most farm kids are outside doing things and entertaining themselves. Most kids that don’t live on a farm rely on technology to entertain them. Farm kids usually have great common sense and can figure things out better as they get older because of everything they learn on the farm. When I was a kid my siblings and I would walk the creek that ran through our farm when we weren’t working looking for sand stones, snakes, and other interesting things. Or we would walk across the fields to visit our friends and do things around their farms. We were seldom inside until late in the afternoon.
In the beginning of your video when you crawled under the digger, and you popped your head up for a second, the first thing I thought of was, "WHACK A MOLE" LOL
good seeing your dad's knee healed and walking normal
YESSS!! Getting the four wheeler stuck in the mud is WAY better than video games!! Hopefully they are also learning car and maintenance of said vehicles! And that young lady's smile would melt the snow for three counties around.
Nothing more precious than having your little girl hang out and help.
"Priceless" 😎👍👌
It's certainly good for the soul

Glad to see ur dad doing well was a busy video thanks for taking the time to bring us along ur busy journey
I think your Workshop looks amazing!!!!
The end...OMG...the cute level is off the charts 😊
Awesome. Beautiful Daughter. Oh how fast they grow up. Glad to see you with her. One day you will blink and she will be graduating. Treasure these years!
This is so much better than anything that Hollywood produces.

Because Hollywod wants to make it real (real nonsense)

Hi how to stop kids

Who is Chet?
Never had farm interest until I came across this jewel of a channel
Yes Zach is a great reminder that not everyone that lives in Minnesota is a communist that burns down wall greens.
Me neither. Now I follow three farm channels. I'd watch more, but I don't have the time.
Zach Johnson does a great job acting and pretending to be a farmer

I like the dial air gauges with the stubby flexible hose which holds the reading until the button is pushed. $10 - $20 usually.
i prefer the cheap digital ones. accurate as hell
Snow.is the word of the year in the north . We are on winter 6 in Northern Canada !
You have the best helper!!! Way to go, Isla!!!!
Thanks again, Zach & Becky for another informative video. I'm so happy it's time for y'all to start turning some dirt!
Love the dogs fighting at the beginning of most videos

have always found that good engineers mostly (not all) started out as farm kids, combination of professional and practical training.
You make my day zach and you inspire me to be a farmer when I get older
You won't regret becoming a farmer it's the good life
If you can, get a job as a Farm Hand.
As long has I get to farm with crops I don’t care what it is I want to be a farmer
Old, like Zach!
