Well it makes fun of Dagon and Hydra, the main cultist looks like a noodle, lol, that sort of thing. The gameplay is like La-Mulana-lite (easier and shorter) and while there are insanity effects and dark themes, it doesn't take itself too seriously. It's free, too. So there's really nothing stopping you from just checking it out to see if you're into it.

It's very Lovecraft lore-heavy, down to major parts of the mythos appearing in the game. It's more light-hearted, though.
