DETAILS: I recorded this at 9:30am this morning, out of pure inspiration. It hit me so fast, I had to record it, video it, so I wouldn't forget it. Keyboard: Yamaha DGX-505 (grand piano mode, with string quartet in the background). Drum machine: #19 "Piano Ballad" in 4/4 at 74 bpm, also done by the Yamaha keyboard. Electric bass: Split Keyboard button enabled, so the whole bass clef (left hand) becomes a bass guitar, versus the lower bass notes of a piano. D... G.... D... A... A7th... D... Bm... F#m... G... A (abrupt stop, bass solo)... and back to D. What do you think? No musical notes written down, sheet music notation, etc... I just played whatever I played with little arpeggios within the chords, as this was a rough idea that I *HAD* to record!
Thanks Butch!
