You may recognize the drummer - Dave Grohl, founder of the Foo Fighters. The guitarist to the right - with the red, white, and blue guitar - is Foo Fighters member Pat Smear.
Putting very 'electric' oriented bands in an 'unplugged' acoustic type setting often allows new appreciation of who and what they are. I am reminded (in my usual 'how did he get there' way) of how putting Shakespeare into non-traditional settings can bring out new insights into a play and their author. Although flawed here and there, it was nonetheless an interesting and enjoyable performance, quite possibly because it was different and not the familiar version heard countless times on the radio. Good reaction and analysis! 🌐
Sure he technically wasn't a good singer but I loved Kurt's voice instantly recognizable anywhere you are you here it you know it's him so unique and nostalgic
