I've had the same problem with rivnuts, I now borrow a friends pneumatic tool for setting them, works great, kinda spendy. Looks great, like the tire strap tab on the bar.
Your neighbors must hate you 😂🤣 Grinding and cutting sheet metal all day. I can't wait till I move to the middle of nowhere so I don't have to deal with neighbors complaining!
Nice, the only thing I would've done different. Was, make the box flush with the bed height. But that's just my ocd lol. Oh, and would've painted a 2nd coat on the outside. That 1/2 rack came out nice also. 👍

I think I'd put the tire behind the driver for better visibility, but i like the simpler look. Now to organize that box.😁

Yeah I almost always do I had to laugh editing the footage when the one clip I filmed was the one time I forgot them.

I did paint two full coats on the box, just didn’t film it. Haha
