Bruna Takahashi pulled a muscle in her back at the 30:45 mark. She was very uncomfortable in the following match vs Jeon Jihee - not that it would have been a difference maker and Jeon has been absolutely solid for Korea.
Bruna has short strong strokes but the worse thing is that she seems to know when to use a full stroke. Also true about her forehands. Congrats to Bruna!
Despite her highest ranking in the team, Shin Yubin is the weakest link so far in this competition for the Korean team. Jeon Jihee is carrying the team at the moment.
Players do not do the long fast serve because they want to rally, it's used as a surprise element hoping the player cannot return it. It's usually aimed at the BH side of the opponent. Maybe when the commentator was playing it was so, but the bottle serve is the strategy for play today. Chen Meng is not using it to rally, it's the closet thing to an ace in tennis for table tennis.
WTT has ruined the past 3 WTTC events with this ridiculous side camera angle. Numerous complaints about it but they don't care. I, and everyone I know, has stopped watching matches shown that way. The only way WTT will stop using that angle is if no one watches matches using it. WTT needs to listen to the angry fans of TT.
I don't find anything objectionable about the camera angle, but I don't know how it was before (?) -- other coverage, e.g. ETTU, shows the table from one end -- here the replays show a number of other views, and overall the coverage seems to be a professional production -- besides it's free on YT, so I'm reluctant to be too critical
Bruna's banana flicks are awesome. Also her backhand topspins from the middle to the wide forehand are killer. Great match congrats Bruna.
A Bruna ganhou!!! Parabéns 👏👏👏👏👏😊

True, that was a very tricky move but dangerous if you're not used to it. She must've a previous injury on it.

She is not peaking at the right time. But that can change as the tournament progresses.
I think shin yubin carries an injury. It’s sad for her when she should be shining with home ground advantage.

correct, do not listen to anything the commentators have to say because it is invalid.

Bruna is so beautiful!

They use this angle to display more sponsors
@trinhfrancois5074 doesn't make it any better. They should care more about the viewers. Not the sponsors.

stop compaining, be lucky you get a way to watch the match in the first place. Yall act like WTT get NBA level funding for camera angles.
What is the best angle?
Please stop with this camera angle.
It's hurting the sport - you can still fit the sponsors in sideways.

Bruna is not Japanese, why does she have a Japanese name?
German face and Japanese surname, that's Brazil hahaha
She is mixed. There are a lot of japanese descendents in Brazil
