Disco’s not dead; it is a lost treasure waiting to be discovered again.
Amazing Trio Bee Gees.
They were better musicians than any of the clowns these days.
Love discos...so much fun,.....
I'm 42 years old never thought I would be listening to this and like it but you cant fake the funk baby its real!
Dude, i'm 16 and absolutely hate the shite they have on radio these days.

I was listening this in 1769 😋👌
I was born in 1958..........66 years old as I type this...........this song gets me SO emotional........not sure why.
Born in 2000 I’m envious of your experiences
Obviously nostalgia.
I'm 14. Born in '09. I hope you understand that you, my sir, have something we all envy.
You lived through the 60s. The 70s. The 80s. The great music slowed in the 90s and pretty much full stopped in the 2000s and hasn't picked up since. If my career works out as a musician I'm gonna change that. But people like you and the experiences you have had may be something you just don't quite realize the value of.
The Bee Gees were ONE of the greatest groups ever 🎵❤️
They have been since the 60s. Listen to the song "Cherry Red" from the 60s (not the later one with the same name). I absolutely love that song. Wine and Women is another good one. And Spicks and Specks (of my life) actually went to #1 in AU in 66. Spicks and Specks is slang for Odds and Ends in AU.
I was a teenager in the 70's, I'm 62 now and still get goose bumps when I hear 70's music!!!!
I’m a teenager now my dude, and I’m addicted to these masterworks

@@raiden1766 same. I'm 21 but lately I have been listening to 70s 80s 90s music mainly. They dont make 'em like that anymore
@@Makaveli-020 they’re called “classics” for a reason my dude
Becky, hi from Becca. This song and the other 70s Bee Gees and similar music 🎶brings back memories of disco dancing at Mothers in downtown Plattsburgh NY 77, 78, & 79. I was barely in my early 20s, stationed at Plattsburgh AFB.
Sadly Mothers closed, & the base closed. I would luv to get out on the dance 💃floor and disco some more.
I believe today’s generation would go crazy for Disco and The Bee Gees.
I'm 20 and you're not wrong at all. Or a retro roller skate session!! Sucks that's all dead now :(
Kids today want a looped EDM beat to move it! It's really sad.. Let's keep real good music alive! Rock on 👌
Today’s generation? I think your associating the only one relevant generation. Get out of your box or get the corners kicked in.

There aren’t many songs that manage to be simultaneously relaxing and energetic. It’s a really strange mix but it puts you in a cool headspace and it makes this track a real stand out in The Bee Gees catalog. Big Empty by Stone Temple Pilots creates a similar emotion for me but it comes from a *totally* different direction.
Well said!
Exactly
This is a really great track. It got overlooked, what with Stayin' Aline and all. I always thought this was the best song on the soundtrack.
The power of disco :)
Its like being on LSD on a warm summer night with a safe driver and your head out the window.
Being a kid in the 70's was pure MAGIC!!

I am 66 and still listening and dancing and working out to this..........absolutely love it!
Yes! I'm 63 and I love good music to get me moving!
I'm an old rock and roller, but disco days were so fun, much love.
Absolute classic. No autotune, just good vocals and melody.
Well said👍
i was think the same ,you wont get vocals like this anymore.
@@dustinmeeks1751 Unless you have lived in the 70's or 80's, you don't KNOW the quality of vocalization needed for songs like this. All kids seem to know is rap, unless they find a movie theme song that grabs them.

The Bee Gees: Night Fever
Release Date: February 7th, 1978 (46 years)
Obviously this is the most well known era for The Bee Gees. But, my favorite is their late 60’s-early 70’s material. This song is one of my favorites though.

The mid 70s were a depressing time to be a teenager. Much better to have been a child in the 70s and a teen in the 80s.
I was a kid in the 70s, but remember all of this music as you couldn’t go anywhere without hearing it.
They’ll never be another group like The Bee Gees again. 😢😢

Today’s songs are fueled so often by aggression, hate, or heartbreak. Disco songs from the 70’s were designed to make you happy and dance the night away.

True. A reprieve from the many sentimental, sappy ballads of that decade also. lol

yo tambiénnnn
For whatever reason, I demanded this soundtrack for Christmas when I was 7. I got it as a stocking stuffer and it was by far my favorite present that year. I believe that was 1996.
El mejor disco de todos los tiempos, no tiene ni una canción de desperdicio ! Bee gees for ever
The Arrangement on this song was 🔥
Perfection
Add me to the list of Black Americans that love the Bee Gees.

@@CholaHelloKitty since michael jackson ended up white i'll add that i'm among the white americans that like sly and the family stone
✌
Me too!!!! They always said they were inspired by R&B music
And Egyptian nubian as well lol
100% perfection from this group. This song makes you feel relaxed at home in your comfy armchair toe tapping away to this. Simple beauty and vocals from the brothers Gibb
RIP to Andy, Maurice and Robin 🌈🙏🏻
I'm heartbroken for Barry.. adrift alone without his 3 brothers..so sad
With the exception of Lennon and McCartny, the brothers gibb are greatest songwriters in pop history. The results speak for themselves . When you add the songs they wrote and produced for othes, like Andy, Samantha Sang, Dolly and Kenny and the interpolations and samples of their tunes…. I don’t see how anyone is better or more successful …just my humble opinion
Not to forget Donnie Warwick´s evergreen "Heartbreaker", written by the three brothers. Barry also was co-producer and sang backing vocals that can be heard on the chorus. Speaking about great song writers, you also could include Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus for their ever lasting Abba songs 🙂
I was born in the 90's, but this 70's song loving my soul. 2024 anyone?
Yeaaa, night fever 🎉🎉
❤❤❤
