  • Today was the day.
I couldn’t stretch it out any longer.
We said our final goodbyes to our Highwood family to begin our final stretch leading back home.
Jim decided it would be best to ride the motorcycle off the “bench” to avoid the coating of dirt it got on the way in. 😉
We loaded it in Belt and made our way towards Jordan.

I was really disappointed when you announced that you sold the combine. I liked the videos around the harvest travels a lot. As I mentioned in a comment to an earlier video, RUclips once suggested me one of your videos (since I watch other ag content as well) and I instantly recognized you from a documentary for German television a few years back. When you announced that you and Jim will be up in MT helping out, I was back in hopeful mode ... from channels like AgriStudios I knew there's some beautiful farming scenery in MT besides the Welker flatland. But not only did you capture some magnificent landscape but also great people, machinery, operation ... your 23 RUclips season was the best. I thoroughly enjoyed every single second. You did soooo well Tracy! I'm pretty sure they are more than happy with your's and Jim's quality of work and work ethics, so I'm hoping there will be a 24 MT harvest on RUclips. I'm already counting the days.

The guys we worked with for that show were a lot of fun and they did such a wonderful job of telling the story! Thank you so much for your very kind words. And, God willing, we will be back to Montana next summer. However, first we have corn and soybeans to put through the headers. ❤️

I have never watched videos before that made me feel like I was a member of your family. I commend you on this years choice to continue being a part of the wheat harvest. It's too late for me to do the same now. I just wish I had thought about doing that when I first retired. Thank you so much for all the joy you brought me the last two years. Well, I’ll tell you why. I bottle fed her and her three siblings until they were old enough to be on their own. The other three went to my daughter’s house. My intention was to keep Bear. The kids in Montana fell in love with her - especially after they took care of her while we went to Chester. They loved her so much, I just knew she should stay there with them.

Didn’t think I ever tried to push people away. If I was to get political, though, I would say something like - “maybe you just need to be more accepting and tolerant”.

Tracy. you took the words out of my mouth. If we only hang with like minded folks, we learn little. My Dad's best buddy, Sam, was of the opposite political party. Sam went on to become our Mayor, and then Representative in DC. When my family vacationed in DC, Sam welcomed us into his office with open arms. We are all of the same scientific cloth. We grow best together. You do you, and you are doing it just fine IMHO! Peace out@@ZeorianHarvestingTrucking

@@ZeorianHarvestingTrucking Well Bret can put whatever name he wants on his truck and support whoever he likes. I don't give a damn that's his own business. Viewers are always asking you how many acres they farm, (I don't give a damn about that either) and you respect their privacy by not divulging that, so I was disappointed that you then thought it was ok to publicise his political affiliations. I think that was a grave error on your part and so for the first time I have given a thumbs down for this video.
