The CAA RONI Pistol-Carbine Conversion Kit is basically a big ass accessory for your Glock replica. It gives you the possibility to actually shoulder your Glock, but also to put other accessories like flashlights or sights.
Obviously, it doesn't increase the performances of your gun, considering your Glock isn't changed in any way. It will still shoot the same. It just gives you a more "stable" platform. Which makes sense for a real Glock, maybe not as much for the airsoft version.
It's still very nice looking, and it's original. It makes a nice primary gun for CQB fields where a high powered gun is not necessary.
I've got a problem though : in this video, I used the kit with my Glock 18C Marui, which according to Redwolf, is compatible. But yet, the slide of the Marui Glocks are a bit larger than the KWA/KJW Glocks, which causes more frictions between the gun and the kit. Resulting in scratches on the gun and lower gas autonomy, not to mention some weird malfunction I can't really explain when using a long mag. I've been told that it does the same with WE Glocks.
Nothing a file couldn't fix though, I think.

Le "CAA RONI Pistol-Carbine Conversion Kit" est fondamentalement un "gros accessoire" pour votre réplique de Glock. Il ajoute notamment une crosse permettant d'épauler la réplique, mais il ajoute également des rails permettant d'ajouter d'autres accessoires (lampe, système de visée...).
Bien sûr, il n'augmente pas les performances de votre réplique, vu que votre Glock n'est pas modifié. Il tirera de la même façon. Le kit vous donne juste un système plus stable, ce qui est un gros avantage pour un vrai Glock, mais c'est sans doute plus anecdotique pour une réplique airsoft.
Le look reste sympa, et c'est original. Il permet d'avoir une réplique "longue" principale pour les terrains CQB ou une réplique puissante n'est pas nécessaire.
J'ai un problème néanmoins : dans cette vidéo, j'utilise mon Glock 18C Marui, qui d'après Redwolf est compatible. Mais comme la culasse des Glocks Marui est un peu plus large que celle des KJW ou KWA, cela produit des frottements plus importants entre la réplique et le kit. Ce qui occasionne des marques sur la culasse, mais surtout diminue l'autonomie en gaz du Glock, sans compter les problèmes que je n'explique pas trop avec le chargeur long. On me dit dans l'oreillette que ça fait pareil avec les Glock WE.
Rien que quelques coups de lime ne pourraient régler je pense, cela étant dit.

I'm not gonna lie...that magazine holder on the stock is freaking genius.
Just look up the cca micro roni for a real glock it has the mag as the forward grip and high end airsoft is a one to one match literally why I'm here looking up cheaper attachments for my real glock lol
I had a chance to shoot the original CAA Roni G1 with real Glock 17 and I must say the airsoft version feels totally the same! I would definitely reccomend this one! Good quality, nice feel, and fun fun fun!
yes, its made of different polymer plastics, recoil would also probably break the airsoft plastic version. I feel as though the muzzle would handle the heat for at least a clip.
Man they really need to make a Roni 16" varient carbine kit... i fell in love with the barrel on that thing.

Also not a light weight kit. With the G18c and sights and a small flashlight, the gun weighs in at over 5 1/2 lbs. About a lb heavier then my sim equipped full stock MP5 AEG.
I know (mostly because before I was into airsoft I was into Nerf) but on an airsoft carbine conversion kit it looks just flat out awesome!
Oh wow did that kit actually make marks all along the slide of your Glock? It looked like it did when you were doing the installation.
This would be nice for an indoor game that requires pistols. Or a more affordable version of an MP7. The KWA MP7 costs about as much as a glock and this kit combined but its much too powerful for an close quarters combat. This seems to be the perfect solution.

All right. Yet I still believe it's not a good idea to use the airsoft version with a real one. The kit for the real one is like 3x more expensive, I would assume there is a reason.
Parts like the muzzle probably can't handle the heat.

They recently made a version of the real one that that has a little cut-out in the side that allows for easier access to the selector switch on the Glock 18.

No. A version made for real gun (which can handles the power of real guns) exist, but I would assume it's much more expensive.
Actually, on Februari 15th, 2013, airsoft has been made legal, but it still is 18+, and you need a special lisence for it.

the reason it says that is because if you use it with a real glock it makes it a SBR which means you need a class 3 license i think or the 200$ atf stamp. basically its illegal to use it with a real gun without the proper papers.

just adding in, even airsoft full metal flash hiders aren't built to handle a real firearm.. likely, the reason why the kits or parts made for actual firearms are way more expensive is due to their parts are tougher and likely made from a tougher type of metal. (I'm sorry if this is all too obvious)

I have the same exact setup as you, and my gun doesn't jam or run out of gas before my bbs.
Bit more than Marui, from my own experience. They're still good though.
I have some prejudice against pistol-carbine kits especially for airsoft, probably because I have been misinformed. But are there actual advantages to have the pistol in the carbine form? Is the operative accuracy that much more significant than the ordinary pistol frame?
Wish I would of kept my G18c. Really wanna do this conversion. Guess I'll have to buy it again :) great video!

Sur un vrai, ça facilite grandement le tir. C'est plus discutable pour la version airsoft en effet.

With this kit, ksc g18c, longer inner barrel, on field abs on cqb i washingtonu beast i had better accuraccy then my kwa m4.. this us very good. I putted inner barrel of an mp5 and put silencer

gives you a more stable platform to operate the pistol, human hands have the tendency to shake, even with minor little tremors but dismissible

To absolutely clarify this question.. Here is the answer from one of the retailers I spoke to @shot show. The Roni G1 which is a basically a discontinued and first Gen roni is exactly the same.. Exactly the same! (if and only if it is a CAA Brand and not WE Tactical) whether designated as airsoft or firearm...The Israeli company that makes these had to get rid of the many Roni G1`S they had left over after introducing the G2. So they rebranded the G1 molds as "airsoft only" for legal purposes to get rid of them more easily in the large airsoft community. The reason for this strategy was also do to the major improvements the G2 has over G1. It was evident that once a consumer actually had there hands on both... The G2 would be the clear choice and word would spread leaving the company stuck with defunct G1`s. I can absolutely say that as an owner of both gens..The G1 is a great platform and if u can get your hands on the cheaper "airsoft" designation.. Go for it! You will love it and the money you have saved will pay for the tax stamp. However if you have the cash for G2 & a stamp... You will be extremely happy I guarantee. That's it..Clarified!!

Salut khan-Seb. Petite question qui me taraude (sans troller). Quelle est l'utilité de ce kit de conversion ? Car cela n'augmente pas la portée, a la rigueur la précision, mais ça rend ton arme de back up, beaucoup moins transportable (plus gros que le simple glock). Bonne continuation !
