SNBR is a great little railway with lots of action. They also do a New Year's Day event for charity; and they often do an annual event where they do the loop in the opposite direction - the gradients make that much more challenging, especially for the steam locos. They're just down the road from me, so I really must think of volunteering. Perhaps in a few years when I've retired :)
YES WE DID !!! we unfortunately had to close down our channel SNBRGEEKS due to unforeseen circumstances. a new channel is in the pipeline so watch this space !
Thank you for sharing this excellent video. It might be worth mentioning that Annum Perdita is normally based on the Colne Valley Miniature railway but visiting the SNBR for the time being, which may help with researching the locomotive.
Hi Rob, Love the video, I have visited SNBR a few times before, when you drove the class 47, was that a one off or can you do it if you Book? Or if it's quiet. Thanks
Check out the SNBR Facebook page (facebook.com/SwanleyNBR) and their Summer Gala is on 22-23 July 2023!
What a fantastic video! Id love to see you do one on the Barnards Miniature Railway in Essex!
I'll have to check it out.
Hi. I'm a volunteer at the SNBR. I really enjoyed this video. Very well made

I think they only ask for a few days volunteering a year, and they'll teach you to drive if you want to. Sounds like a brilliant deal.
I am a volunteer there, it is amazing
Hi there bine a member of the railway for years thankyou for such a good video and for giving area railway great exposure We really appreciate it.
Such beautiful locos. Someone should make a little model railway of these. Great details!
That would be cool!
The SNBR has a great RUclips channel. Sadly it's been removed. But it's always been a great railway!

Robert!!! You were but five minutes from my house and you didn’t pop in and say hello!
Aww! Didn't know you lived out that way. I'll be back though and will definitely stop by 😃
