I retired at 52 and honestly, I wish I’d done it sooner. The 9-to-5 grind steals your freedom for a paycheck that barely scratches the surface. My advice? If you’re in your late 30s or early 40s, start saving for FIRE now - Financial Independence, Retire Early. And if you’re in your 50s, invest smartly and break free from relying on your job. Market trends, like the Trump Effect, have made millions for many, including me. Stay focused, stay consistent, and remember: financial freedom is within reach if you make it a priority.

I think this things are typical for people who go through divorce. Dealing with all the rejection from an ex-spouse, family, society just makes you not care about the judgement
Personally, I think it's a choice of how you want to be you. I'm not into tattoos, piercings, etc., but now that my kids are grown I bought a fun car to drive after years of the SUV. Not a mid-life crisis, just opposite of Mom's taxi. But I grew up reading my Dad's Road &Track magazines, so my idea of freedom is buying something I love to drive.
I think minimalism is really good for ADHD but it’s also really hard for us. ❤ Facebook really is a toxic environment. I don’t care to fit in or keep up with other people either.
Born in 1986, was diagnosed add way before adhd was a thing. Was on highest dose of Ritalin available from 4th to 8th grade, besides watching RUclips what helped me is no social media at all and only watch shows you like on TV. The minimalist thing I wonder these days is it by choice or force everyone's broke so? That and exercise helps even if it's only twice a week.
@ I was diagnosed at age 46, 3 years ago. I’m medicated when I want to take it and it does help. I have always struggled with focus but it’s definitely worse since social media became a thing. I’m a psychiatric RN and have taken care of countless ADHDers over the years. ADD is just ADHD without hyperactivity. Now it’s called inattentive ADHD. I have combined type which is both inattentive and hyperactive/impulsive. I think people are broke because of excess stuff. Minimalists tend to have more available cash. I have a minimalist mindset but my family doesn’t so we still have stuff everywhere. Stuff/clutter = chaos and anxiety and makes ADHD symptoms worse.
