Starting was promising, when Amitabh saves little girl from the aircraft but later they lost the plot. love triangle between Amitabh Minakshi and Jackie was unnecessary. Music was bad. Ramesh Sippy always took R D Burman as music director but for Bhrashtachar and Akayla he opted for Laxmikant Pyarelal. sadly they didn't give any memorable song in Akayla. People still remember songs of Sholay, Shaan, Shakti and Saagar. Also RD gave excellent Background score in all these movies. Amitabh acting was only the saving grace.
