    Hey I had some questions - not that many courses are on Sophia for this program ? Am I missing something

    This won’t be accepted for prerequisites at any major MD or PA program. That being said you can complete this and then take prereqs and GPA prerequisites at CC or universities towards MD school etc. WGU’s system does NOT work as it is pass/fail.

      It definitely depends on the school. I will say, 7 of 8 Ivy League schools have accepted WGU undergrads into their grad programs regardless of the pass/fail system. But yes, you absolutely need to check with your med school ahead of time. Another solid options is to hack your undergrad, then attend a "Post Bacc - Pre Med" program at the Med school you're wanting to attend. It can save you a ton of time, and give you a huge boost in odds to get into a specific med school.

    What if you have a BA but need a second one in health sciences, can the gen Ed be transferred or skipped? How can one get financial aid or scholarships to pay for a second degree??😢

    Is it possible to attain this degree in two months if I do courses every day?

    • @9monthcollegegrad-ryansway671
      @9monthcollegegrad-ryansway671  25 дней назад +2

      A bachelor's degree is about 40 classes. 1 class per day would get you the degree in 40 days... But.. it's important to keep in mind that there will be times when you're waiting for essays to be graded and waiting on teachers. It's technically possible but the fastest I've seen for a full Bachelor's is 3 months.

    Hey Ryan, I've recently enrolled at a local community college and I'm hell-bent on getting the best grades I can, so I can get admitted to a more competitive school and get into a competitive program. What do GPAs look like while college hacking? Would I only be doing the minimum amount of work to pass these classes? Is this still a faster option if I want a 3.5+ GPA?

    • @9monthcollegegrad-ryansway671
      @9monthcollegegrad-ryansway671  5 месяцев назад +1

      Each school is a little different. Some have a traditional grading scale, and others use a Pass/Fail system which basically tells schools you had a "3.0 or higher" for your undergrad. Which is usually not a big deal at all. For example 7 of the 8 Ivy League schools have accepted WGU grads regardless of the Pass/Fail system they use.
      But there are paths to acceleration either way. Shoot me an email (ryan@9monthgrad.com) and we'll see if we can map something out.
      Also... most of these schools grad you on the work you do, not the work you skip. So if you skip to the final exam, that would represent 100% of your grade.

    I am a 32 years old Korean student who's just trying to get back to college. I've thought about applying to ucla, UCB, Upenn and Columbia with ged and toefl, or do you think it's better to just go for free tuition online college that can get me a degree within a year? which do you recommend?

    Very cool, but would med schools even look at you with an online degree with no GPA?

    • @9monthcollegegrad-ryansway671
      @9monthcollegegrad-ryansway671  5 месяцев назад +2

      It's usually not a big deal. For example 7 of the 8 Ivy League schools have accepted WGU grads regardless of the Pass/Fail system they use. However... I always suggest making sure the schools you're trying to get into will accept your undergrad before you even start. If your Med School wants a firm GPA, with no acceptations.. You have to look for other options.
      Another hack I love is to undergrad in whatever you want, then attend a Post Baccalaureate Pre Med program at the Med school you're wanting to get into. It's way easier to get into the bridge programs, but once you finish it... your acceptance rates normally skyrocket.

    • @9monthcollegegrad-ryansway671
      @9monthcollegegrad-ryansway671  5 месяцев назад +1

      I've seen WGU students get into Med School and Law School. But it's super important for pre-med students... You have to have every "pre-med" credit required by the med school to get in. Most students will need to do at least additional classes before getting into med school. You've gotta do your due diligence ahead of time and make sure you check all the boxes required at your med school.

      It's common for pre med, but with just a Bachelor's Degree... I've seen dieticians with Health Science majors. Also quite a bit of lab type jobs. Medical technology stuff as well. Most pharmaceutical sales jobs require a Bachelor's degree.. and this would be a solid major for that. Pharmaceutical sales is high paying as well.
