i absolutely loved this show, i loved the way this was essentially an all-white collection-- the black was only an accent
I first found out about him through seeing his work on tour costumes for Kylie Minogue's 2005 Showgirl tour and he also designed did some stuff for her latest tour and album promo. He's such a talented person and I love how architectural his designs are!
Whoa whoa whoa, goodbye horses by Q Lazzarus is playing at the end. I've love Gareth and have watched this video many times, I officially love both even more now!
I would love to see a collaboration collection between Rick Owens, Gareth Pugh and Hussein Chalayan. Even if it were just one full outfit!
There would be a lot of genius, crazy ideas, and maybe a touch of ego in the studio that day but the end result would be totally worth it.
he's much more of an artist than a designer in my opinion.
His clothes make my head spin. I wish I owned everything from this show.

ya you're right....... McQueen is always new in two times in every year. He's awesome. Pugh is the new entry. But let's see what happened next. Obviously he will do something new if he want to retain his name in the list of fashion designers.

you may be right.... but i was meant that though mcqueen is totally crazy about fashin, but gareth pugh is the follower. I have seen the reflect of D&G Jewellary and mcqueen style in gareth pugh. Gareth Pugh is a young charming guy....

The clothes are absolutely gorgeous and incredibly unique. But, some of them, I'm not sure if I would ever wear out on the street.

He doesn't try to make his clothes wearable. Just how it comes to him, wearable or not. lol if fashion wasn't so expensive, I'd love to see everybody in this!

anti fashion is fashion if you consider this anti fashion. i studied at central st martin's and i have worked for louise goldin and alexander mcqueen and yes this style of dress is more appealing to people who have a strong interest in fashion because they understand what it about and enjoy the fellings that come from dressing up and how clothing can be used to envoke and emotion, which is just not there in every day life.

Sure, it comes to him, and I'm sure some people would wear some of the designs. I'm just saying some of the things I don't think I'd wear.

well, if you've seen the stuff that he actually sells, it's extremely commercial. But I agree, people should be able to dress however they like without being judged, just like the Japanese.
your right but your wrong. "you fashion people", what do you mean by that, people who design, people who wear or people who enjoy? Every designer is an artist, just some are more commercial than others. Gareth Pugh is commercial, he just has interesting show pieces, like Galliano.
Cool editorially (as always) but he needs to be more practical if he really wants to survive within the next decade. He'll probably go the McQueen route.
The mainstream has started to embrace Pugh, Beyonce is wearing nothing but his clothes in her newest video. Shocking, no?

McQueen has always carried a certain romanticism about his designs, but there is none to be had here. McQueen would represent the Avant Garde in a wearable fashion, but Pugh has no desire to make a wearable impact, because no consumer will clamour over a black and white jumpsuit with folded paper towels round the neck.

the fun has gone out of fashionas soon as it leaves the runway. you should be able to wear this on the street if you like it but it's our stupid society, which is so conformist and homgenised that any one that is novel or unique is considered a freak.
