I lived through the 70’s and yes indeed journalists were very much journalists and not there to entertain.
This case always intrigued me. To me , there is no way these two normal simple men would make this up , in the Deep South in 1975. No way.

My great grandfather was one of the police officers that was part of their questioning at the police station. While he was a firm non believer of aliens and ufos, he always said “whatever it was that those those two men experienced scared those men to death” I’ve always been fascinated by the event that Calvin and now late Charles experienced.

Whatever these two men experienced that night it clearly terrified them and was a very real experience. They gained nothing from going public apart being targets for ridicule. It’s very easy to belittle things we don’t understand and I can see no positives for them to make this up. Personally I believe they are telling the truth, which makes this case compelling.

I'm more of the persuasion that maybe the men who experienced it didn't even understand what was happening. I don't believe in aliens from other worlds. I do believe in other dimensions though.

I just listened to this again for probably about the 10th time. This story absolutely fascinates me. With no other evidence or having never have heard of amy such tale; but based solely upon the testimony of Calvin Parker, I believe we are not alone and certainly we are not at the top of creation's intelligence. We allowed Calvin a debt of gratitude for the unsung courage he displayed that faithful evening and the many years that followed while his account never changed.
Odd looking, possible humans wearing costumes but how they managed to fly a unconventional craft big enough to house a human and do stuff to them.
UPDATE.. i may have got the 2 mens stories mixed up... its not 2 stories.. its 2 different stories from each of the guys.
I like to imagine that this became a big scandal on the alien's home planet...

I saw his discussion in person 2 years ago at Contact in the Desert. A very truthful and down to earth person who speaks his mind openly. I have a copy of his book he signed for me in person and was a joy to be in his company.

@@alexkx8599 Yes indeed he's still alive and was on a clip in the latest 2020 series about UFO's on one of the TV cable channels.
I was about 11 or twelve years old when my Mother took me and my brother to pick up my Dad from work at Ingalls shipyard in Pascagoula at around 11pm. After we picked up my Dad we were making our way out of the shipyard when we saw blue flashing lights in the direction of the Singing River banks less than a quarter of a mile away. We thought they were police car lights. The next day the story broke about the alien abduction. We realized then that we had witnessed the lights of the UFO that allegedly abducted the two men. It was a big news event.
It happened to them around 6pm

Wow. I've seen something very similar. Me and my brother were outside talking one night. When out of nowhere I saw a bright light rotating from the corner of my eye. I turned to look at it. It was just rotating in the sky. I froze i was in shock but I managed to point at it. My brother noticed. He Looked quickly when in one sec. Or less. It justed zoomed out into the sky and disappeared faster than anything. We were both shocked. It was crazy.
I had three experiences, one was a craft (Phoenix Lights) and later on two different nights in the desert saw beings that were totally not human. I later heard of MUFON and reported my sightings to them. It is comforting to have my experiences documented, wether anyone reads them at any time or not.
The strange thing is we never saw such an alien picture before!
it's an extremely peculiar case, and what makes it more scary is that the police seems convinced that it did happen.
The law of one material said the group that used Charlie was an anomaly and not the usual ET abduction from the typical greys.
I like the ones the Zimbabwe school children seen. Amazing. One described the same as the 3 Roswell ones. I believe without a doubt after watching that doc.

About 20 yrs ago an orb came very close to me and a friend while we were driving down a country road ,and it’s utterly terrifieng to see something like that, you feel so helpless. I’ll never forget it.

The info is out there but ya, the main ppl talking about ufos are very tightly controlled I. Terms of the narrative. There isn’t a lot of info on abductions or the hybridization program. You don’t hear about all the research that was done decades ago as well as some of the conclusion that were made.

I've noticed this perhaps even more so here in the U.K. I sometimes doubt someone from 1940s England would even be able to hold a conversation with the British youth of today.Its a crying shame. This is a true story!! I remember seeing it on the news back in 1974, I was 9 years old along with The Travis Walton story as well.

I was just reading psychologist reasoning for alien abduction. They claim sleep paralysis and hypnosis was the reason of this phenomenon. These two men was fishing, both saw figures coming out of something and grabbed them. Their experience couldn't have been sleep paralysis or hypnosis.
I'll bet the aliens lock their doors when they fly by earth these days..

My mother was working in New Orleans at the Wildlife and Fisheries building and told me the young boy, who was about 17, came to the Federal Building and joined the military to get away from reporters who were constantly hounding him.

What is really fascinaing about this segment is that the interview was from 1975- less than a year after the incident- so it was still very fresh in the minds of those involved.

When the beings were in the school grounds in Australia years ago, the children said concern over the stewardship of the earth, or lack thereof. This is Dec. of 2020, watch phenomenon, a documentary by government officials, scientists, etc. Enlightening to say the least. This is my great uncle! Charlie is my fathers uncle. I actually only met him once. They both still maintain their story to this day. Dont know if i personally believe it but certainly interesting

Remember when this happened, I was in high school in Miss. at the time. Heard on radio the next day. Calvin Parker had to be hospitalized for anxiety after this incident.
Calvin was already on his way to needing to be hospitalized b4 all of this happened. He's one of many men in our family that has suffered from severe mental illness nearly all of his life.

My pawpaw was a helicopter pilot training at FT. Campbell. He was flying a Huey in 1964 to prepare for Vietnam and they crashed right outside the gate into a dentist office parking lot. The entire crew was killed. I have always wanted to see the spot.

If there was ever a believable encounter, this is it IMO.
this type of thing has been happening for decades These two guys and Betty and Barny Hill in 1961, incredible stories, and with recent UAP's being seen more frequently now than ever, these old stories which many forgot or never believed are all starting to make sense. His story like the hills were very believable.
🎯 Looking back on these testimonies and how consistent they are with current stories makes them both far more believable. Especially honest looking men as these. I believe that Vegas family indeed saw aliens as well.
They're here and have been here for awhile. They're in the oceans and we don't even know it yet. Any lifeform that can manage our ocean is fully capable of managing and figuring out space.

Go on google earth, in greece by the coast theres loads of what likes like fleets of ufos underwater they are massive, someone measured around 200m, ive never found an explanation and sometimes go back to have a look to seebif they still there, they are!

Why isn't this case as famous as the Travis Walton case I wonder. Theres evidence there's witnesses. There's a woman who saw the craft and also saw the same being in the water.

I just came across a documentary on Amazon featuring those sightings as well as a woman who saw the same lights in the sky over the same area where this happened so there is literally multiple witnesses of the ufo as it was abducting the 2 men
