Guess who's back? Wow, time sure flyes by, huh? It's been over 2 years since I uploaded my latest viedo. Haha haaaaaaa... Man! But I do hope I can be more active from now on ;) There is so much I wanna do, but I have so little time!
Btw, this is kinda the first completed animation I've done with Clip Studio Paint. Oh boy, sure took some time to figure out how it works, but I'm kind proud of this.
And yes, this is for the contest Sir Fluff arranged, and the first time I saw the animation meme I thought "Hey! Dreamtale would fit with this so well!" and BOOM! Here it is ^-^

Carry on! The author knows how to interest the audience. I really liked the movements, as individual ideas of movements, gestures. Nightmer's smile was mesmerizing, and the fingers in the first shots directly prompted me to think about following and spying on the dream. I liked the animation so much, I would also like to say about the background with fire behind the Night, very suitable for his atmosphere. It's amazing. I see so many cool, masterful moves, skills and ideas here that I can't find the words to describe it. I like the way Dream and Nightmer's relationship is shown. I like that your Nightmer doesn't look like a completely pathetic victim before the transformation, which is a rarity among the fandom. You have embodied in one video everything that I have been looking for and wanted to see for a long time! Now it will be a crime not to subscribe to you :)
i mean, he was a pathetic victim, passive was canonically a 5 year old gaurdian who was bullied by the villagers and got death threats so often. i hate it when people make him cute and an "innocent bean" though, i agree that it was unique of them to make passive look creepy like, like he was already consumed of negativity before even eating the apple.
@@cookiecat7759 It's just that when a Nightmer breaks down, I think he should look desperate, ready for anything. He doesn't care about moral issues, because he has never received it. And this moment is something like a crazy triumph, when life will forever be divided into "before" and "after".
He's not a villain. He just decided to solve the problem radically. Nothing will change his mind.

Edit: I also like how Nightmare went from a small/hesitant bite on the apple, to him going and eating it like it was absolutely delicous.

The Movements, Especially The Hand, Were So Smooth It Was Like An Animation Brought To Life; The Emotions Were Visible, But Not Overpowering And Added That Sense Of Hopelessness (With Dream) And Malice With Success (With Nightmare) ; Nightmares Smile Looked Innocent Yet Filled With Venom And Deadliness; You Could Practically *Feel* What The Characters Were Feeling; And More! I've literally only just seen this video, but I can safely say

You captured their personalities so well!! I love how you can visibly see Dream crying (That sounds so bad Im sorry) just by his position and how it looks like he takes a large breath. His hands being either on the floor or covering his face seem to resemble that. However, if he isn't crying, I'm sorry.
Nightmare's fingers after that made me feel like he was teasing Dream for their past, like he's trying to make Dream feel guilty. It's something Night would do, and it was executed perfectly.
Nightmare's expressions, as well. It's so well done. It compliments his sinister character, and I'm all here for it.
Overall, the animation is AMAZING! You did so well and I really commend you for that. Props to you. Sorry if I got any intentions of scenes wrong overall, this is my interpretation. Have a fantastic day/night and I'm excited to see more from you!
