I was out in Iraq teaching for three years. Downloaded the album. It helped me make sense of the crazy place I was in. Not sure I made sense of it but the music carried me home safe enough. Sane too I hope 🤞

It's amazing how he sends shivers down my spine with his voice. It would be wonderful to see and hear him live.
This guy and Teddy Swims have the most unique, soulful voices. No auto tune or anything. Put them on a stage with just their voices, no instruments or anything. Just their voice. And they would blow most artists out the water.

I will always love this song. It is chilling, yet somber, and in a way brought me peace.
Unfortunately, part of my world was lost in 2019. My father was suddenly ripped away from me in only a short weeks, of his grim diagnosis of Glioblastoma Brain Cancer. I laid my Father (my hero) to rest, as this melody played thru the amiphiers of the funeral home, for all to say their last goodbyes. Ironically, I had never heard it before. It appeared mysteriously in a Vevo music shuffle as I was driving. At the very moment my ears was hearing this melody for the first time, I received "The Call" from Hospice that noone will ever forget, nor do they want to hear again. Yes, on a busy interstate highway, I was trying to get to my father's bedside and lay my head upon his chest to capture hus last breath. Unfortunately, I was 25 minutes too late. I will always love this song. It can be interpreted in many ways. However, for me, it tells the the true story of a doting daughter who lost her Hero, but will someday meet him "on the other side".

I can relate. I laid my father to rest last December, my hero, my knight, my Daddy, Mo Ghile Mear. My thoughts are with you. And they never leave us because their love lives forever. You can talk to him whenever you like, easy as a prayer. He hears you and loves you always. That's what Daddies do.

This song makes me feel this powerful and humbling sense of spirituality and the ache of love that is so deep, but deeply destructive, that it doesn’t even make sense. This song makes me feel the same way Hallelujah by Leonard Cohen makes me feel. That’s high praise, that song is practically sacred to me...and so is this song.
This guy is amazing, great voice and great songs. So talented, but doesn’t get the recognition he clearly deserves, hardly hear him on the radio which is unbelievable as this guy can actually sing 🤷♀️🤷♀️🤷♀️

Sorry for your loss of your dads 😪 My dad was an alcoholic, and not there for 5 children, left when I was 8, so when he died, it was like I had lost him twice. He never told us that he loved us, I'm still grieving for something I never had. Rag n Bonemans voice evokes strong emotions, and he is awesome 🔥🙏💙
