Yo! I saw a lot of comments asking for a comparison between the Clifton 8 vs Asics Gel-Nimbus 24 and the NB 1080V12, I will work on that video for this week, appreciate the feedback!, have a great day!
@@jemrylie An awesome shoe that nobody mentions when talking about comfortable shoes for walking/standing for long hours is the Adidas ZX 2K Boost. I tried a pair when I was looking for a new shoe for work (entire 8-hour shifts of just standing). I tried all sorts of comfortable shoes; Asics Novablast 2, Nimbus 23 and 24, Hoka Clifton 8 and Rincon 3, Brooks Ghost 14, New Balance Fuelcell Propel, Adidas X9000L4, Ultraboost 20 and 21, Nike React Infinity Run FK 2, Vomero 16 and Pegasus 38. Despite the plethora of amazing shoes, for me the ZX 2K came out on top and I bought it as soon as I tried it on. Frankly it was unlike anything I have ever worn before. The boost in the midsole feels like it combines the best attributes of Gel with the ones from soft foam midsoles. It could just be that it was perfect for me but I honestly think it's worth considering, especially with how little I've seen it be talked about.
@@nsp6590 Thanks for the suggestion! I actually bought ZX 2K Boost "Pure" after watching Hes' review. The boosts are indeed very squishy but my heels keep sliding up when walking no matter how tight I tie the laces. I'm not sure if the non-"Pure" version would give me the same problem though, as they have different material for the upper. It's very unfortunate because I actually quite like the midsole and the colorway (black with orange accent and white boost). After buying mostly Adidas shoes, I think I might as well give a different brand a chance.
@@jemrylie If the material for the upper is different there's a good chance the shoe will fit differently as well I feel. Either way I totally get your point about wanting to try something different. Happy to hear you have a pair of 2K's anyway because so many people seem to be sleeping on that shoe and I think it deserves more recognition and it definitely has become my favourite shoe of all time. I literally haven't worn a different shoe at work since the day I bought mine. :)
For me, the Hoka Kawana fits my foot much better than the Clifton. I’ve had an issue with plantar fasciitis with the Clifton, but the Kawana gave me the support my foot needed.
I got myself a pair of Hoka Bondi 7 after watching your review. Probably one of the softest shoes I've ever worn. Now everything else seems like junk after owning Hoka.
On swallow tail designs: hoka has been using them for a while now (Clifton Edge, Carbon X, Bondi X) and determined that for this lower profile shoe the majority of runners only needed the shock absorption feature on the lateral side of the shoe. This crash pad essentially helps with stability where runners need it most.
Got the Kawanas a few days ago and love the look. On feet it felt like there was way too much material on the sole missing at the heel. The steep angle on the heel was too weird for me. When standing it felt like I was falling backwards. I returned them and waiting for the Arahi 6 to show up. Hopefully those feel good because the white and orange colorway is awesome.
Can you try the karhu Ikoni? There so close to the old Nike lunar in looks but wonder how they feel. Or the fusion hivo’s. I’m feeling theyre colors and styles are evolving but wonder about that squish lol
I don’t know they just look so clingy and big to me are they heavy. I want the for gym cardio but not sure. It I see people wear these all the time, I guess I’ll try and if so I’ll use your code Hes🤑

Can't wait for it, man! I'm looking to buy a new pair for traveling but I can't seem to decide between all those pairs and NB Rebel v2.
@@jemrylie honestly out of those four you really can't go wrong all of them are excellent!

All 3 are so awesome. Clifton’s and Rincons have been so good but now the Kawana is great too and what I use for the gym

I love kawana. Personally think it is more stable for the gym and more wearable daily. I also own Clifton and like them.
Clifton 8s have been my daily runners for the past couple months. Unreal comfort
can u use clifton 8 as a daily shoe too? like a little walking, working, maybe a dirt trail too.?
@@norcalpacific probably do it all shoe, daily runs and walks

Are the Clifton 9s coming out anytime soon or will the 8s be out a while?
Need Clifton edge review! Appreciate the content👍
My favorite is the Clifton I really was surprised how comfy and springy they are.
Hokas are so damn comfortable. Thanks for the reviews.
Which would you recommend?? Bondi 7 or the Clifton 8??? 220 lb male.. light training & 13 hour shifts
Should I get Clifton 8 in a wide or will wide Becton big? My dad wears a 9.5
That was a perfectly timed & ill timed drop all at once lol

The stinton is actually the most comfortable

Do a top 10 most comfortable so far
Looking for something comfortable for my wife she is a hair stylist. Any recommendations?????👀👀👀👀👀😂
For me Clifton is better for running and kawana is better for daily and gym wear.
Pls do a review on adidas street ball 2 and fila atlas slides
Try the Bondi X please
Which one between these three for wider feet
Clifton has wide option, Kawana does not.
clifton and Bondi all day

These are super light and actually well balanced for how high they are! I actually got my parents the Cliftons and they love them too
@@heskicks thanks I'll heck them put via your ink. Thanks, verified by parents is a must cop 😁
Bahay sa inyo Hoka sir
