I prefer eating dinner right before bed. It helps me sleep better. Thanks for validating my preference.

You ever get nightmares? And do you do more carbs, fat or proteins? Or a balance?

@@alecjordan6100 nightmares, lol, no. My dinners are typically high in animal protein with a starchy veggie like potatoes/butternut.

Makes sense. I am a night eater and never feel like eating earlier in the day unless I force myself to eat protein. Late eating helps me sleep. The one practice that requires self control is avoiding a serious late binge.

I don’t like to eat early either. I hit the gym at 8am three days a week. Always on an empty stomach. So maybe I can load up on protein after that. Eggs and bacon sounds great Then start with the carbs at noonish and later for dinner.

For some people, having actually a sugar balancing meal in the am instead of skipping breakfast, will actually stabilize glucose and insulin. on the other hand, not eating and fasting can actually Spike glucose due to cortisol

Isn't there a big difference between: "late at night" and "later in the day"? Come on man, what are we talking about here?

I just started going bark the gym again. I work 8-6 Monday through Friday. I get to the gym at about 645/7 and do an hour work out. Is it okay if I have my protein shake after the gym and then come home and make/eat chicken rice and veggies? Or is it too much that later at night? I’m trying to lose fat and gain muscle

What about with digestion. Maybe the late at night part is more of a myth but probably shouldn’t eat a few hours before bed.

Agree... I'm in hospitality and usually finishes at 11, midnight or 1am. Standing on my feet running around for about 9hours a day. I don't eat breakfast cuz I don't feel hungry when I wake up or not that much even during noon but if I do I would. It's just depends how my body and I feel day to day basis and activities / work hours of the day. I'm just eating intuitively , when hungry just eat when not I dont 😊
I have no certain body goals, and I've regularly check with doctor that I am at healthiest state regardless of time of eating so far ❤ I feel blessed

Good information. But he forgot to mention when he said his eating preference works for him and walks at below 10% body fat that he is also on TRT and who knows what other PED. This is the part that they should always let the viewers know, that aren’t aware of the extra secret sauce they add to their diet. People that don’t know hear this information and assume if they eat like him they will walk around sub 10% body fat also. With that said it’s good information just be real. Sometimes its reminiscent of the old muscle mags. They too had good information but, they always omitted the sauce that will yield different results to the average person.
