@scrotiedotbiz hey pal, cheers for my first reply. Got love supreme live Seattle off a friend recently, killer. The next month Nov 65 he recorded Meditations, mind blown. I listen to a lot of music but Trane for me was the greatest of all time. Props also to Miles’ 65-75 decade, genius. Both would be 100 in 3 years. Kings of kings. Thanks pal, Craig
more reflective than the studio version, love this tune so much, this IS superb, it has more pain in it tho, I miss the hope lifting thru vibe of the original version, I can feel the bleak in this. Got to 20.12, have to stop, too much hurt in this version. Man was such a genius
Tremendous opportunity to listen to a legend perform at a 200 percent high level John Coltrane is one the top three saxophonist in jazz history period
First time I heard “out of this world “ live in Seattle was almost in tears. Recorded “OM” LP the next day. King of Kings, never forgotten . Hail...

Live in Seattle is not from 1963. If I remember well it was recorded in 1965.
Yeah, it was auto-tagged that way for some reason. Amazing late 'trane live with Pharoah Sanders.
1965
It sounds like Acid... A pure masterpiece, made possible by the extension of mind.
