Natures Edge Bushcraft: Mine works excellent! 100% no issues with the stitching, grommets ect.. If I were you I would email ticket to the moon with the issues with your tarp.
The TTTM hammocks are really comfortable and lightweight for warmer climates or days. When it gets colder I use the double layer DD Hammock so I can slip a mylar blanket in between the layers. I adjusted my DD Hammocks to use with the TTTM hanging system but of course you can tie the ropes yourself using some strong (5 or 6mm) static climbing rope.
Ticket to the moon makes a tarp for the hammock it works great! got it on eBay pre-owned (not really used) for $20. I also purchased the TTTM single hammock that system works very well for me. Great video! 👍🏻
Hey guys, great video. Thanks for all the great content! I was wondering what tarps it is that you use in your set up? I really like the look of them and have been looking for a tarp for a long time but didn't know which to get.
Ya, I saw you guys use these one time previously, it seems a hammock would be better to camp with overall because they're easier to set up than a tent, you don't have to worry about the bugs on the ground, more comfortable, and just better overall tbh.
Not better overall. Many situations call for a tent rather then a hammock. Tents are way better in bad weather, high wind ect. You also can't rely on two trees standing perfectly near each other.
I am making a strap, that'll make hanging a rain gear cover faster to set up and, easier to adjust. When it's done I was wondering if I could send you one to test it out?
thank you for the Video guys very good ! awesome subscribed to your Channel I'm thinking of using a hammock for my next adventure I think my mind is made up now I saw a ticket to the moon hammock in Bangkok I think I'll get one now
+Mexicansuperdubi i in the Summer would never use An Under quilt. Only if you are using a very thin sleeping bag. A hammock is a lot colder to sleep in than on the ground so for winter I would definitely recommend an under quilt. I use a goretex outer shell when it gets cold. It will be good up to 0 degrees Celsius in a hammock. This however also depends on the user. I'm a hot head haha
Ahh okay, i didnt know if a sleeping bag would suffice. Thanks for your input very much appreciated. I will keep that goretex in mind if i ever think about winter hammock camping. I like my face kinda cold and a nice warm cacoon around me haha
Mexicansuperdubi i haha the same goes for me! What I hate the most in winter is when your warm inside your sleeping bag and wake up because you need to pee in below 0 temperatures haha.
i honestly hate the cold haha, i haven't gone camping in the winter yet i kinda wanna try it but i dont know anyone who wants to. But im sure its a struggle.
IF you try a Warbonnet Blackbird XLC you will never sleep in any other hammock. with all your superstar RUclips $ you should get one & review it , & Thank me later ;)
these look good make of hammock i usually use or go for dd hammocks or military grade mosquito net or hammocks the buddhists say mikkie that if a mosquitoe want to drink of your blood you must let it make this small sacrifice because they also have just as much right to exist live as you do? so they also require your blood as sustenance nutrition you must freely offer it to them your blood!! as you take from nature to eat yself you must also give back if nature needs to eat of you!!!
I am beginning to think mikkie b is half mosquitoe now he has been bitten so much like the film the fly! Just watch him in case he starts laying eggs larvae! Ok hanging about water for too long a time! Ok?
Hey guys great video, thx for the awesome review !!
Greetings from all the TTTM team in Bali, keep your feet off the ground ;)
Agree to that :-)
Thanks a lot for your kind words. TTTM is great. We hammock all weekends under the night sky! It's the greatest feeling of freedom

Hammock camping is a really nice thing. I was a little sceptical at first, but I learned to love it :)

I miss the good old gear reviews of DBK. On top of being good in the first place, they had that honest vibe of a young RUclips channel
