Whats funny is that "Bimbo" had the same affect on female Deejay Angie Angel. I can recount reading a story Angie told some years back, about performing Slackness music in a live stageshow with Garnet Silk watching her from the sidelines. His mere presence and stare alone, with no exchange of words, was all it took to make her feel so embarrassed to the point that. She eschewed the whole Slackness genre, grew Dreadlocks and took on more Cultural songs till this day. This story only gives a glimpse into the level of respect, power and influence this great man had in the lives of others in a positive way. RIPower Lionheart!!

Was this is the UK tour when Garnet was allegedly kidnapped in London? I'm totally gutted I never got to see Garnet live. I've been a massive fan for years, and I'd loved to have seen him in my hometown of Nottingham, where he played. I was put off by the line up. Much prefer the Roots crowd.
