It just does not get any better! Nothing like a high winding high compression rat motor from the factory to get it done! Beautiful car!

When i was racing my 1966 chevelle at ATCO, BRUCE LARSON WAS RACING his 1966 all FIBER GLASS CHEVELLE. U S A I CHEVELLE. It was the FIRST FUNNY CAR A SAW and it was a1966 chevelle. IT was the meanest car ever. It had 8 tubes coming out of the hood and it went like the wind.

I bought a 1966/360 chevelle in 1966. The 375 did not come out until late 1966. All the guys that bought the 360 were not happy. My SS Chevelle had bench seats and was WILLOW GREEN. I WENT down to the chev dealer and told him i wanted to put the 375 cam in the 360. HE said i have a cam that i just got in for a 1967 vet that will be FUEL INJECTED. THIS VET was never made because the INSURANCE com would not insure it. BUT. chev made the part. I went home and installed the cam. I put a set of HEADERS and a ALUMINUM FLY WHEEL in the car. I PUT AIR BAGS INTHE REAR. THIS CAR HAD A 4.10 rear. I had 8in cheater slicks on it. I TOOK it to ATCO DRAG WAY and Won EVERY RACE I WAS IN. ATCO asked me if i wanted to run for top ELIMATER and i said yes. THEY PUT ME against a A GAS and no SPOT. HE HAD 10 in slicks and i had 8in cheater slicks. He put a hole shot on me so bad i thought i froze and not did not let out the clutch.

YAY - The real 138's were built do be driven like you hated it.... But today that option is like finding a hen with teeth - so take good care of the parts while storing them....
