Excellent video and explanations by this young man. He brought it down to a very easy to understand level and covered the necessary key points. He should make more Kestrel videos. Great Job !!!!
I been wanting this Kestral forever for my PCP AIRGUN but I'm not good with figuring out this kind of technology I always had trouble with this kind of stuff but I want to learn it so so bad so I can figure out my exact target spots when target practicing or hunting pest at different distances. Do you think I can figure it out if I buy one even though I'm not very smart with this kind of tech.
@ I figured it out. It takes the lowest wind reading and the highest and displays both. Up to the shooter to figure out what to hold between the two numbers
Thanks for an informative video. Don’t own one yet but getting close. 😆 One question though, don’t you need to input information about weather conditions when the rifle was zeroed? I’d think temperature, humidity, altitude, etc. of your zero would affect things. If I zero my rifle in MO at 1000’ and 80% humidity in the summer, I would think the Kestrel would need that information if I’m out west at 8000’ and 30 degrees. Thanks again.
Yes it does. But it’s pretty quick and easy to get an environmental read. Once your rifle and bullet info is in, you’d want to get an environmental reading often.
So, it says "Great Detail" which it is. It didn't say "Complete Detail" What is the name of the video that you think is better then this one? I'll wait.

Dang Ty. I paid good money for this info from you, now you're giving it away for free 😂. Loving my rifle btw. Thanks man
🤣🤣🤣 small part! You got a lot more from our shooting schools! 😉 Glad you are enjoying your rifle!!
Once again, excellent tutorial Ty. You make it look easy my friend.
Thank you! Glad I could help!!! Let us know if you have any other questions!
Best explanation for kestrel with not extra ...talking .
This a great video. Excellent info. Nothing really mentioned about getting the kestrel to sample temperature, pressure, altitude etc.
Excellent video my scope turrets are ccw will the kestrel still work with my scope turrets
Great video

@@JohnVentarino-ey5ln yes they are very easy to run once you get your hands on one 👍🏼
I noticed on the windage call it’s shows 2 number. Example 0.24/0.67L mil. What is the difference? Thanks!
More likely moa and mil

the description says "great detail" ,, this is patently untrue. if you want to learn about your kestrel, try a different video.
