I loved the blue needlepoint chair too. You asked if it was petit point but you would have to show the work more closely for us to tell. Petit point is needlepoint done in a finer stitch than needlepoint. Often the two will be combined with petit point used when detail is needed.
Great slow speed. Nice to be able to really look at things. You asked if the red-cushioned piece is an ottoman. No, it is a bench. An ottoman usually doesn't show any wood. It's like a big floor cushion.
