  • Join Jess in her day in the life as a Discipleship Bible School student here at YWAM Kona’s University of the Nations.
In this three-month school, you will encounter God and see his story unfold as you study the Bible under dynamic teachers and within a passionate community. You’ll get to observe the chronology of biblical events, better understand each book in its historical context, grasp the harmony between the books and grow in your knowledge of why the bible was written.

Hello! Thanks for the video. can u live outside the campus (I mean not in the dorm). If yes, by any chance do the costs u pay to ywam get reduced cuz u r not using their dorm? I can see that u live outside the campus. Also unlike DTS does DBS skip the 3monhs outreach?

I would like to do this but not go on the outreach or live on campus. I already live in Kona.

It’s unfortunate WYAM won’t provide these classes to the community in Kona. People in our community have jobs and homes in Kona and they are the only Jesus others will see. WYAM can help edify believers already living in Kona by providing Bible class courses etc. I get u guys have Monday night community worship but the believers doing Gods work in Kona need more support form brothers and sisters. There are different churches in Kona all believing different things about Jesus, it’s a melting pot, some are preaching a different Jesus. It’s difficult to be edified in Kona because it’s a melting pot of different believes. I get you guys go out to the “nations”. But Kona is a nation to. You guys can’t live off campus so you can stay in “community”. Kona is community. Jesus didn’t say he would take us out of the world. The surf community and the rest of Kona-Big Island needs Jesus to. You can’t fake it. Jesus sees all things. Hope WYAM makes some changes.
