My response to this would need to be delicate. I don’t know everything about their situation. While I believe Newmar are among the best built coaches… they are not perfect. RVs are going to break… that is the reality. That part of owning an RV isn’t fun! I’ve owned lots of RVs and I’ve had lots of things break. However, I didn’t go into RV ownership or any other vehicle ownership without understanding that it is mechanical and will break. It can be new or used, meticulously maintained or not… it’s still going to break. The solution to something breaking is to fix it. Period. I have taken an RV technician training course so I could better understand the systems to be able to diagnose, repair and maintain my RVs. Again, I don’t know the whole situation with their dealer and Newmar but they are in the right place if they couldn’t get satisfaction from their dealer. My recommendation to anyone with a broken RV is to be part of the solution getting it fixed. If something your doing is not part of fixing it… don’t do it! Newmar definitely wants to help them fix the problems. I can promise this won’t be the last time something breaks.
