I'm with you there. The thing with AWD is it makes it too easy to drive fast. For me, it almost takes the skill out of it. I own and drive a turbo MR2 - 92 model and I will never look back. It's such fun to drive. NSX is my dream car and forever will be. I will own one, one day...hopefully an NA2-R model. ITB's are definitely the way to go!
This was in Mechanicsburg PA. It was high mileage, but it was not a salvage title, and was current on maintenance. It did have a few cosmetic issues, the driver's side seat had a rip in it and there were some scratches and what not but that was about it...
NSX-R has great handling and great feel, but AWDs are quicker on the track or touge. It's hard to control oversteer of an MR. But, MRs and NSXs are the most fun cars to drive! Still looking for my own NSX though, very hard to find. I could just imagine installing a Tracy Sports ITB! hahaha!
Still seems fishy...I have seen NSX's('91s") with over 200K on the clock go for $20. A non-salvaged NSX that is up to date on maintenance should easily be able to fetch north of $25K regardless of a ripped seat, and scratches. Not calling you a lier, just I would be a little cautious on that one.
About 6 years ago, I almost bought a base model NSX for 10grand... I wish I had

Man, these things sound great! There also my favorite cars.

100% agreed awd cant do hair pin turns worth shit
The car is floating as ohhhh so genius car as well the driver
Problem with the ASX is that Senna had no involvement with the new car.
well, its the next gen, so its prolly better. honda should make the new nsx the ASX-ayrton senna experimental
The 2nd gen NSX Type S is better than the 1st gen Type R and just barely worse than the 2nd gen.
great cars.

so...the conclusion is that the na2 outclasses the na1 in every way?
Awesome vid.
Where are you from? Reason I ask is I have only seen one NSX for $10,000 and it was overdue on a lot of maintenance and had a savaged title.
Does the fact that it was a 1991 model change anything?
Oh wait, you were talking about the MR2, whoops. >_>
Anyone else wondering why there are Japanese subtitles when they're speaking Japanese?
you sure about that? have you driven these?
You mean Honda, right?
na1- not so fun at night.
...hearing impared :-p
