And with dez, he saw how a real mother should treat their kid and was actually happy with the changes. Even if terrance was a bully, he was way in the right in this story. To be honest, I think they were equally in the right Terrence, although finally got to experience a real father, literally tied up his mom and told her to shut up and apparently beats her every day and dez neglect his father but respected the mother of Terrence
