Can I just say how shocked I was to see a student with an IEP. I have an IEP and was always shammed for it, but seeing it being recognized made me feel good since many people don’t know what it is. Thank you so much for educating people on it.
You should never be shamed for anything like that. It’s totally fine to have a IEP. There’s nothing wrong with it at all. The people that make fun of you are unhappy with their own lives so they take it out on you, which isn’t right at all. Just remember that it’s never your fault and you don’t deserve it.
Whoever is bullying you because of that ignore them because we all came put of our mothers wome different and special so if someone bully you just say that there just jealous because there not as Cool or as special as you

As someone who is disabled, I absolutely love how you are adding more representation, as most Bloxburg RUclipsrs leave out POC, LGBTQ+, and disabled characters in their roleplays. Thank you so much.

Akeila was definitely cut out to be a teacher. She is actually good with kids. Also, the first day was actually not bad. She spends so much time recording and editing for us. We truly appreciate it Akeila 😌. I hope everyone has a good rest of their day if they're reading this.❤

9:55 -- Gotta love the neurodivergent representation! I had an IEP when I was in school since I was diagnosed w/ Autism and ADHD and aides would come and help me whenever I needed help!

Can we just appreciate the little things she put into this video. Making others feel inclusive who are a little different from others, having a student have and IEP definitely made at least some people feel happy and not feel like the only one with one. It’s really something not many people even know about so really love that you did that. And the flag too, it’s nice that you thought about both of those things 💗💕

the student with an IEP almost made me cry. my brother who’s going into 4th grade has an IEP and people make fun of him. the inclusivity of adding a student with one made me so happy. i literally love you so much Akeila.

I would just like to respect and point out how inclusive Akeila is. I found it awesome to see one of her kids having an iep. I have anxiety and a dyslexia, so I’m on an iep myself. this definitely shows that although sometimes we get pulled out of the classroom, we are human like all the other kids, so I was very happy to see that aspect. I also love seeing the pride flags in the classroom, shows the respect towards the community and the students! I am lesbian, and was very happy to see that as well. Keep up the great work Akeila!

I appreciated how Akeila has a pride flag in her room. I’m apart of the LGBTQ community and when I walk into a classroom and the teacher has a pride flag it immediately makes me feel comforted. Your classroom seems like such a welcoming environment :)

I love the effort put into this with the slide presentation it just brought everything together and I wish my classes were as creatively decorated as your room but I'm not in elementary school anymore the only thing that stands out in my classrooms is a poster saying school is the best 😑 also the tiktok was a great touch im laughing😂 their so many other great stuff like shy having an iep that was so creative instead of every student being perfectly okay with no needs or disabilities

It means a lot that you added IEP to this video. I have really bad ADHD which makes it hard to focus on work or take in information that may be easy for others to understand. It's also hard for me to stay still and quiet; from time to time my medicine causes some fatigue.
I've always felt insecure about having to get pulled out for IEP. And I'm in 8th grade now, so sometimes it feels even more embarrassing. But that specific part of the video made me feel really special.
