Did you have to open up the controller and modify it to handle 48v? I put 36 to mine and it burnt up in like 3 days😂 I'm running a fast scooters 48v thousand watt controller now and have no issues but that original Razer controller didn't last too long lol

The terminology of over volt means you’re putting more voltage to the Stock system than intended. The rule of thumb that will get you a fair amount of longevity while still increasing performance substantially is about 150%. Anything more and you’re burning stuff up quick. So for 24 V you could go to 36 V (24+12=36) For 36v you could add another 18 V but most people just make it 48 V. Everything besides the extra battery, different wiring, added, fuse holder and changed out. Charger is stock. I recommend doing all the batteries at once and not just adding a random one in to an old set of batteries.
