No glitches, no hacks, just beating the game using the mechanics the game offered. I like it, nice work Brother. Though developers will probably nerf that specific knife move now.
That move is crazy I tried it yesterday for the first time and noticed I was staggering Tyranid Warriors when they were about to hit me with an unblockable. Never thought to apply it like this 😂
I've actually tested if this works on more enemies, and i found you can do this to the helbrute too. Also, you can do this to chaos terminators and chaos marines as well. I found that using shadow stab works as kind of like a mini grappling hook too because he lunges so far and stun. When my grappling hook is down, i shadow strike the nearest majoris maybe twice and then unload on their head with my occulus bolt carbine. For terminators, you can completely stun lock them using shadow stab. I usually do about 7 shadow stabs on a fresh terminator and then unload my occulus on their head, and they get to execute pretty fast. Plus, they can't attack you or your team back because they are stunned the whole time. It's such a powerful move. Shadow stab is deadly!
@connorjensen9699 some genetic horror beyond comprehension with armor plated body parts can't handle a lil pokey poke from what looks like a butter knife compared to it
Interesting, using the opening heavy attack from the all heavy combo to stun lock him. I can stunlock with even the slow speed of the fencing knife majoris/extremis with the 1-2 light heavy combo. Vanguard is the one class I haven't played and with the 50% parry perk I will need to experiment with it some when I level it. I tried the balanced knife on Sniper and definitely got by but there were times when I got owned by large packs of majoris when I was dry on sniper ammo because I was missing parries so I went back to fencing for safety since its just a back-up on Sniper really.
After I got used to Balanced Combat Knife's parry timing, I never went back to fencing, even on my sniper. Because of the speed, I was able to dodge and parry Minoris/Extremis more easily, and I had more time to react to Majoris/Extremis.
Yeah I like balanced combat knife much more, the speed is just too good to miss out on, since parrying bunches of enemies just don't work everytime instead of just trying to get away. and the speed just make it easier to fast 1v1 a Majoris, then to another we go
There is honestly nothing broken about it. This method took forever to actually kill the hive tyrants, and there are already faster methods. Plus, nerfing an antire perk because of one boss fight seems a bit extreme and does not see like the way they prefer nerfing things. Doing so would make the perk useless against all other enemies sense it is the only this the perk has going for it. They also might have purposely added this. They did say they buffed the charge attack perk for both the chainsword and the knife, and the knife never did this on launch. The most they might do is make the hive tyrant more amune to stun locking like the carnifex.
@@izzydarkhart4144 Yeah stunlocking is not a broken mechanic. That it interrupts blockable combos and stuns is a thing but that it cancels dodge only attacks is going to go at the very least.
@@izzydarkhart4144 They went out of their way to make it so you cannot stunlock majoris level by making them immune after so many so I see no reason they wouldnt do the same with Hive Tyrants.. Probably make this apply like 3 times then make them ignore it for a few seconds. Yes while it took forever with bots, it would be far easier with actual teammates.
Its just the combat knife with the shadow stab ability swap. Shadow stab is usually a charge ability but you can use it like this to stun lock enemies.
But are you the first person who posted this stun lock tech? I've been doing a lot of legit solo lethal run with gene-seed and no incapacitation. Will that make you happy boss? :)
I've already done legit solo lethal runs with gene-seed and no incapacitation. The main purpose of this video is to show this new tech, just like the Chainsword's Full Throttle tech that bypasses the 1st light attack, and the Power Sword's Quick style change mid combos.

I love that move on sniper melee assasin build
20% dmg buff vs bosses that move really wrecks neurotropes
Does it work for other melee weps like Bulwarks sword?
@@ClintK. it’s specifically tied to the Shadow Stab perk for the combat knife idk if any other weapons can do this
@ chainsword has analogical move full trottle perk
nice to see the bad guys also die when stuck against a wall...
I guess even cheesing requires quite some skill level. WP Brother

Yes! :)
This all works on Majoris, Extremis, Terminus, except Carnifex and downed Neurothrope.
This the equivalent of an elusive chihuahua biting at the ankles of a Great Pyrenees but only getting bit once in the process
That knife probably feels like a toothpick jamming into its skin, why he flinching so hard 😔
I mean I flinch pretty hard when a toothpick jams into my skin

I 100% would have skipped that Zoanthrope/Lictor fight lol. I WOULD abandon my post, Titus-- I'm a coward
I’ve seen Tyranid that was scareeeee you sell us.
Does this still work? Nice find brother!
Yes! it still works. Also, the new Neo-Volkite stunlocks the Hive Tyrant with headshots; choose all the lower perks for max damage output.
Yooo I subbbed Ace!!
I’ve seen Tyranid that was scareeeee you do us.shorts
Amazing find brother!
Hoping to find a carnifex to see if it also works on them!
The emperor protects.
Tested it on Helbrute, Sorcerer, Termintor and Carnifex, yes it works :)
scratch that. It doesn't work on Carnifex, but still works on Helbrute. Going to test it on Neurothrope.
Neurothrope is a no-go as well.
@@inixi8ocelot thank you for the video and all the tests brother

Just another bug 🪳
It has poise damage on purpose. Maybe it shouldn't work repeatedly, that needs a patch eventually, like adding a CD between two staggers.
