    Stav, speaking of scenarios...
    what would you do if someone approached you, pulled out a gun and said "hand over your bag" and your gun is in your bag?
    It is something that women MUST consider if they choose to carry off body.
    I no longer carry off body because that is just not an option for me--I can always give up my bag, but my gun, ID & main bank cards are never in it. They are discreetly on my body.
    I ask because I hope you have an alternative option to that scenario. I've changed to never carrying off body because I have no alternative yet. So please, if there is one that gives a work around, it is very much needed.

    Stav, I think the person who was asking "for an easy way to load a semi-automatic" might have been ask about loading a magazine. Your video on the Maglula Uplula is a good one for that. My wife and I both use them at the range just to make it easier.

      I attached my Maglula Uplula to a quick release lanyard. It's great for use at the range, the short part of the lanyard stays attached to the loader. Yet doesn't interfere when reloading your magazines

    Great video as always. My wife and I always watch together and look forward to them. Concerning the question about the gun pointing at you and potentially going off, you might include info on the inherent safety features that modern striker fired pistols employ that prevent them from “just going off.” And yes a second video please. Thanks Kevin and Heather

    I commend you for being a positive light in the 2A community even while living in MA. I'm a former MA resident myself for 47 years now living in GA. Something I've found particularly funny is that MA make gun ownership and carrying much more difficult than GA, but there was always so many places to shoot, such as ranges and Rod & Gun clubs. Here its much easier to own and carry with Constitutional Carry, but ranges and clubs are few and far between. At least in my area. Keep up the good work. Go Red Sox!!!!!!

    I've used an Otis tactical range kit for all of my cleaning for almost 20 years now. It's done everything from 22 to 45colt in pistols & 22 to 45/70 in rifles plus 12, 16 & 20 gauge shotguns(410 gets 45 brushes & patches). The foam dividers that hold the brushes are worn out but the kit still works fine along with a toothbrush & paper towel. The only thing I clean with anything else are my muzzleloaders which I do totally different & NEVER with modern nitro solvents. Otis just works.
    Keep doing what you do Ms. Stav, I'm glad you're helping new shooters so much.

I have never seen you shoot a red dot or even heard you mention RMR optics. Do you not like them as they do make concealed carry a tad harder. Or do you feel they are irrelevant? I would love to hear your and Mac's opinions on both RMR's and lasers. Thanks, JimF Va.

    I love my Bodygaurd 2.0, i have started pocket carrying it and am enjoying it as I have never done this carry way before. The bodygaurd 2.0 is great for the money, however if you have trouble racking the slide, it may be a little difficult for some. As a substitute, check out the SigP365 chambered in 380 which is much easier to rack. Overall find the gun that best fits your needs in terms of every day carry.

    Thank you for the additional information on thigh holsters. But the real question for me is how on earth is it possible to walk with a gun between your thighs?! It seems like it would be quite uncomfortable. I'd really like to know because I've discovered these comfy summer dresses, but I have nowhere to put my SigSauer P238 (& I'm not at all comfortable carrying off-body).

    • @SheEquipsHerself
      @SheEquipsHerself  10 дней назад

      It is definitely dependent on the size of the gun, the position, and body type. BUT if your dresses or skirts aren’t tight in the sides you can also carry on the outside of your leg which is super comfy!

    QUESTION. I am about to purchase my first firearm to carry self defense and I've been hearing a lot about needing to be legally prepared for if I ever have to use it and end up in a self defense case. What steps should I take to make sure I all legally prepared? Where do I begin to find the right people to help me if I ever end up in a legal case? I hadn't previously thought about this part and now I am overwhelmed.

      @Sirgromulus 17 дней назад +1

      The SM 2 is the recommended size for the BG 2.0 (as well as the original BG, Ruger LCP Max etc). It's a perfect fit. The SM 5 would be unnecessarily big.

      @SheEquipsHerself  17 дней назад

      Hey all! I clarified with Sticky Holsters. The SM5 is recommended for the Bodyguard 2.0. The SM2 is for the ORIGINAL bodyguard. Because of the BG2.0 beaver tail and grip, the SM5 is recommended.

    Wrt the easy way to rack the slide and load your gun? It is incredibly hard to rack the slide on some pistols, and incredibly easy on others. This is largely due to internal differences that you can't change, but a good shop should be able to help you out. That may mean changing guns, yes.

      I've been appendix carrying my .380ACP in a Sticky holster all summer. I've been pleasantly surprised at how secure it feels because it holds my gun tighter to my body. As with my other holsters, I've trained with it to make sure I can confidently draw from it, which I would advise you to do as well.
      Also, women's bodies carry differently than men's bodies, & most holsters don't take that fact into consideration. I find the Sticky holster to be more accommodating & secure. Thanks, Stav.
