Honestly, I don’t even see it as a comparison between the three groups but rather JUST a list of big groups, which is true cos EXO, BTS, and SVT are well-known. It doesn’t take away from the fact that they have their own brands cos EXO is still EXO, BTS is still BTS, and SVT is still SVT. This is only what I think personally, but I understand why you said SVT can get compared to EXO and BTS. Probably only because they’re SVT’s sunbaes?

I’m a new carat since last year. I’m still diving into them. I got to see them in concert. And was so impressed by how seungkwan and hoshi lead the ment. They’re so funny. I can see how they’re really popular. Such great entertainers. And boy oh boy his live vocals really blew me away too! One of the most talented kpop acts out there.
So i think most international fans dont know this yet but fyi, the acronym "EBS" itself was originated from Instiz, some say it was based on the 3 fandoms that used to dominate the forum at that time (some say fans used to use "EBS" a lot to refer to the groups as they wish for interaction between them) and suddenly it got mentioned in some news and tvshows and got widely known. It. Was. Not. Supposed. To. Be. That. Deep. As it got widely known svt and carats have been receiving unnecessary hates so thats why svt fans made sure to stop ppl from linking svt with the 2 seniors that way by making (and promoting) the acronym SBS, its basically saying stop including us, we didn't start it nor did we ask to be included anyway. We'll go our way. So yeah thats what i hope ppl know

Why can't they just say SBS?? Seventeen is such their own group.and are amazing themselves. They can't be compared to exo and/or bts. And exo and BTS can't be compared to seventeen. They all debuted at different times, under different companies, with different amounts of members, with different sounds and styles.

seventeen called the most hardworking group because they are the one who produced their songs and choreography
They have great attention to detail and they never once perform the same performance twice, ever (unless its for comeback promotions) They always change it up a little bit: for example, the various live versions of DWC and CLAP, and remixes and dance breaks. Every performance is different from the previous one and that's what makes them so special, earning them multiple awards and respect from various professionals and sunbaes. Besides all of that, their choreographies are just masterpieces that no one can touch. No one can ever compare to them when it comes to artistic performances.
Pledis waits for svt to make songs,dances and send a cameraman to shoot, most of the contents are from members..even they are the one who give contents for variety shows too..the only work pledis do is promoting,where they suck..svt IS different from all grps.. they're the best this generation grp..💗

I really wish all these shows would stop bringing up EBS, all three groups are individuals, they all have their own styles and even though its suppose to be a complement, it kind of pits them against each other and brings the groups a bigger burden. The Seventeen members have been very nice about it when EBS is mentioned but they clearly don't want to be referred to as EBS. They keep gently pushing for SBS as an alternative but it seems like the writers and MCs of variety shows haven't gotten the memo yet.

Also, I feel like I should mention this: I don't think Seventeen particularly cares about branding themselves as SBS. It's basically their way of gently telling shows, (without flat out saying it) "Hey, we don't want to be associated with EBS, But if you want, you can call us SBS instead." But in reality, I don't think they would even be pushing for SBS if the shows have taken the hint and stop mentioning EBS. Like the Seventeen fandom in general is aware of SBS and I feel like I never see EBS mentioned anywhere else anymore except for variety shows who try to use it as a topic of conversation.
