Behind the brand: Selim Mouzannar by Bloomingdale's ME

Born in 1963 to a family of Lebanese jewelers, Selim Mouzannar’s career has seen him studying gemology in France and Belgium, overseeing jewelry workshops in Saudi Arabia, and hunting for exceptional gems in the far-flung ruby mines of Thailand.
Selim returned to Beirut and opened his first jewelry boutique in 1999. Today the collections are a rich blend of Selim’s personal messages that nod to the classical style of the Ottomans and the vibrant history of his native Beirut.
