    I've wondered why I've only seen one or two of them so far. My neighborhood has trees, but they're fairly young. My office area is dominated by a sprawling blacktop with most of the trees on the edge. Honestly, I'm fine with this--the fewer of the noisy, bug-eyed things I encounter the better. I lost all curiosity in them the day I got one stuck in my hair.
