Honestly why did the character of Sam have to be upset and barking all the time? A born again christian who is basically angry and barking at all times. Even in the context of dealing with vipers, still makes no sense. But the characters of the vipers were really well acted. Indeed real devils incarnates. The attack on the faith of Samuel and the ex robber, well played and demonstrated. What I liked the most about this movie is its displayal of the real meaning of being a christian. That is faith and that accepting Jesus as the ruling authority over ones life does not mean exemption from problems. Christian is living on this planet earth and will be treated equally with non christians in terms of the worlds distribution of its environmental forces. Indeed allot of christians goes around advertising a Jesus who is just a man made computer program of perfection and goodness. Yeah, when you becomes a christian you will have no debt, no death of loved ones, no hardships, challanges, nothing, just perfection. If Jesus made everything perfect for us, how would we grow and become strong soldiers and ambassadors of his Kingdom? Anybody heard of an excellent boxer, great warrior who never fought a single war? Did any olympic gold medal winner spend no years of training and competing with others? Does a bodybuilder just gets his body by waking up from sleep one miracle morning? Then they demonstrated their own preaching wrong by the very problems surrounding their own lives. And they further diminishes and devalues the power of Jesus as a God by not paitently waiting for Jesus to help them while they do what they are supposed to do. Such as have a healthy and powerful prayer life, fasting habits etc as they patiently wait for Jesus grounded in faith that he is God and will do it for them. Another thing I liked is the demonstrating of unfinished businesses. Yes we are a new creation in Christ Jesus and old things have passed away. We now have everlasting life as born again christian. However if we became christians as individuals with spiritual problems of satanic covenants and contracts we need to deal with them and destroy them or else they will hunt us forever in our life in this flesh. In this case these satanic covenants are surrounding willing participation in occultism. The same principle applies to victims of occultism. Just as these occultic societies hunts around its own members who becomes christians, they hunt around their victims alike. Good ending however, both the central characters trusted in Jesus right before giving into the forces of darkness and Jesus responded to them.
