I was thinking that this video would just be a refresher for me but pancake editing just blew my mind. As someone that is self taught, I find that I am often missing basic key knowledge of how to structure my workflow.
I am a final cut defector and this is the first crash course that has actually made sense. Thank you so much from a new sub and student. So refreshing.
I love these quick pace tutorials. They're inspiring and easy to follow. I like them better than the long form videos you guys have been doing lately. Both are great, but I like this style better!
Thank you so much, Jordy ❤️ I hope you make a tutorial about different frame rates such as 23.976, 24, 30, 60, and so on and how to make a suitable sequence for them in premiere and how to use speed ramping with them. I mean how to work on different Frame rates in the same project and how to keep them smooth as they are, please. I watched many videos about that on RUclips but still get confused 😐
Thank you I'm still trying my best to keep a clean station, which is difficult sometimes, but after watching a few videos on here I've seen the benefits. Great tutorial overall.
Any tips on final audio? Sometimes Adobe Premiere records volume sliders on a mixer and makes awful output, and sometimes it reduces volume of everything or distorts audio. So I have extra work - export audio, do final mix, load final audio back and render video again but with final edited audio again... which is slowing down creativity...
Great job on another informative video. I wonder if it's easier to color correct the clips in the footage sequence before you put them in your main sequence?
I'm a bit confused about using an adjustment layer to colour grade the entire sequence. I thought it was best practice to grade individually? Ajudsting the layer for one clip might make the others look weird, no?
So I think the idea is that once you’ve grated your clips to your liking you can throw an adjustment layer over them all to fit a certain theme like if you want everything to be cold, or dark, you can affect all the clips at once after you’re done balancing the initial colors and grading the clips in general
One small doubt Guru's if my video clip is shot on 60 fps but my timeline is on 24fps still the video can be done slow mo? Or 60fps video is converted to 24fps because of timeline kindly help me out
Guys kindly make tutorial on how to edit and organise unplanned videos example a travel video because it is always a great time consuming thing, with more and more footages we got confused which should go first last second bla bla bla and at last the project will be taking rest for a while kindly help me out guys
Another awesome video tutorial. Thanks for everything ☺️. I was wondering if you could make a spectacular video tutorial for us to instruct the " Film Strip " and "Dynamic Film Opener" on your RUclips channel for next week? 🤔💭 I would be happy if you consider my application.
Thanks for taking over Jordy! I'll be back next week! 😁
Take care Gilles and thx Jordy.

Great job on another informative video. I wonder if it's easier to color correct the clips in the footage sequence before you put them in your main sequence?
Both is possible, you can color correct in the footage sequence and then color grade (so set the overall mood & feel) in the main sequence! 😁
@@PremiereBasics that sounds like a plan! Thanks
Muy muy bien video saludos desde México

It was good but you forgot to mention sound syncing which should be done first before the edit

About the Use Previews export, will it not affect the quality of my export or use the prores resolution instead of the full resolution media?
Very nice👍👏 helpful
I also have migrane... its very painful. Get well soon
i dont understand when to use an adjustment layer for color correction and when to do it seperately for every shot!😅
when preview resoluton in 720p, and we tick use previews in export panel, this will affect the quality????
Can you make tutorial for adding sharpness with pr please
