There are pros and cons of every thing and PPF is not an exception. I got new scross wrapped in TPU PPF this January and pros are the shine and protection from minor sratches it provide. I had few incidents of Bike silencer touch from front on car and side as well. In these cases the PPF took the scratch and after sometime it recovered by healing. Had it been no protection, the paint would have come out.. The Con I see is in the case of dent in body. Recently I had an impact from safari front on side rear wheel which caused dent in the body. Surprisingly even after dent the PPF did't come out and in fact, it took off the paint from Safari front. Only minor scratch on PPF, that too didn't reach till paint.. Problem is, If I want the dent to be repaired, it will require paint job and I have to take off the PPF and if I go to reapply, it will cost per panel charge.. So agar scratches hain to PPF is good, but in case of dent, apko PPF nikalna hi padega, there is no other option. Dry dent repair don't give you that kind of finish.. Anothing thing I notcied is, even during dry denting of the body, the PPF didn't come out. It took the impact of hammer very well. I was worried ke kahi hammer impact se PPF na nikal ae.. Coming to the finalising PPF brand, I went for Chinese made local PPF which costed whole body cover for 44k.. Before finalising I took three samples, one of Saint gobain and two are the local ones, including current one of mine.. I applied those on a marble tile and tested with scratches and glue quality and the one I selected is very positive. SG one quoted around 1L for my car and quality wise there was not so huge difference.. So one should do proper research and test every sample. You can ask for a piece and test yourself, to your satisfaction.. Also, the applicator plays a big role, if he's amature, you will end up with bubbles, minor particle beneath PPF and unproper side wrapping. Jitna jada curve hota hai, PPF utna mushkil hota hai lagana.. I hope this adds to the info if someone is looking to get the car PPF wrapped.

1) A good quality PPF from a genuine detailer would mean that you will recover 70% of the money when selling after 10/15 years respectively. 2) It's easy to clean and maintain. Suits best for dark coloured. Shines at night like flowing liquid. 3) Scratch resistant and self healing property is really good to have on an expensive paint/car. 4) Bird droppings and insect residue are the worst for the paint because of the chemical reaction it causes to blend into the paint coat. Ask any detailer they will tell you the same. 5) Direct sun rays do affect the see through quality. Becomes yellowish after 7-8 years. In some cases the roof is not treated with PPF. 6) OG paint bumper to bumper with hardly any scratches can fulfil the remaining 30% of the investment.
Good video Ravi bhai.... I too got TPU ppf done on one of my car (dark coloured one). The difference I feel with ppf coated car and my regular uncoated car is that TPU gives you ease of cleaning ( dust, bird droppings, dead insect remains, gutka marks) the entire car with just single stroke. The high gloss and scratch free surface gives you all new confidence. The TPU is newer product, initially PP and TPH came so it is obvious that old detailers used them.
Not really. If you are open in selling car with in 5-8 years better to go with ppf and it protects original paint. Now a days good branded ppf comes with 7-10 years warranty. Before selling just remove do normal waxing and u will get good resale. You can avoid spending money in Repainting when that autowala or bike or car from behind hits you. If you don't paint it rust will start n affects the whole car. Now logic on repainting whole car. Repainting will again reduce the resale value by 50%. Now a days a good factor finish painting no one can assure. That means you wil end up with some below avg paint job n live with it. If you have money to spend get ppf. If not do regular washing n waxing.

Detailing bull seems to be genuine and honest but I don't know if they will keep their words with them for every customer . I remember there is a Fairlight studio who rules the ppf market in Indore till date . Will try once with detailing bull . PS: I am from Prayagraj , and I visit Indore frequently so I'm planning to have ppf on my new venue and in touch with Fairlight. Informative video I would rather not get it done. Cost is too high for the benefit it provides. Good example of Glass cover for Mobiles. So Mobile companies started providing because they felt the need. If Car Companies feel the need they will start doing it in factory for much cheaper rates. As off now it's not being done for even luxury brands.

Koi jarurat nahi, normal clean karo and jab kabhi kuch damage hota hai to touchup karao. Important ye hai ki gadi well maintain ho like tyres, oil, filters, brakes by doing regular service.
Car door repaint cost - 7000 One dent on door with PPF = Now fix door dent and paint = 7000 + again add PPF cost extra Dents and dings are bound to happen, it’s a costly affair, scratches etc happens mostly on bumpers and those are not too costly to repaint vs adding PPF, PPF doesn’t protect from dents, scratches etc also leaves a fine dent on door if sharp object is there. Normal scrubbing against another vehicle without PPF will leave a black mark which can be removed with Stain remover (usually paint is not scratched but leaves a stain mark from other car rubbing the paint), even a normal polish also removes those scratches, bare minimum cost. If you have money in your bank and you don’t know how to waste it, do PPF for 1-1.5 lakhs.

I can't understand why ppl go for all these things.. You actually can spend that money to repair of the paint if it gets bad and that too not once 3 or 4 times. The maths does not add up. It's just waste of money. This any way does not save from dent.
A good ppf cost some around 80 K - 1.4 lakh with 5 yr warranty. Can you please update how much a good paint work cost if someone needs to do redo it. Wouldn’t that cost cheaper than a PPF? Looking forward for your reply.

PPF is a total waste. It's like u don't trust on the factory made company paint and you are playing with its original body paint of the car and spend upto lakh rupee...think well what will happen when the car got little scratches while going through conjusted roads while other car can touch your car or your can touch other car and get scratches...even a small dents or car get hit by something can ruin ppf what ever...so it's better not to do it...just repaint the area or repair is cheaper without any stress that entire ppf is got ruined due to small accidents...
I think, any type of coating on a car is a waste of money before 2-3 years there were nothing like ppf, detailing, ceramic etc. I will always spend 50k-40k on diesel or petrol and get the fun of driving 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄

FYI…Garware rejected maal nahi bechta. If any defect is found in the film during final quality checks, that portion is removed from the roll. This i know bcoz i have worked with Garware. Low cost chinese brands might be doing that.

Buy a silver car. You'll not need any coating etc. Silver colour hides scratches, silver doesn't heat up quickly, silver doesn't fade.

A good ppf cost some around 80 K - 1.4 lakh with 5 yr warranty. Can you please update how much a good paint work cost if someone needs to do redo it. Wouldn’t that cost cheaper than a PPF? Looking forward for your reply.
Exactly ...good quality finish repaint is like 60k for whole car ! Only fools with extra money go for screen cover of a gorilla glass mobile.
Needed for 30L+ car, or partial for 20L+ car, company like painting of 5 layer 8s not possible 8n any garrage.

मैंने हुंडई i20 10 साल चलाएं। 10 साल में उसमें थोड़े बहुत स्केचेसभी आए। लेकिन मैंने कभी paint protection नहीं लगाया। एक्सीडेंट होने के बाद आपको उसकी डेंटिंग पेंटिंग करवानी ही पड़ती है तो पीएफ जो है आपको निकाल कर उसमें पेट फिर से करना पड़ेगा। तो फिर पेंट प्रोटक्शन लेने का क्यामतलब। पेंट प्रोटक्शन की कीमत में पूरी गाड़ी कलर कर के मिलती है
Bhai koe very costly gadi li hai to banta bhi hai ppf, budget car me kya matlab.... 30-40 hazar me to puri car professionally paint ho jati hai.

The previous dealer who did PPF on the Jeep is 3M! Did not expect this from such an established brand. Sad!!!
PPF is a total waste. It's like u don't trust on the factory made company paint and you are playing with its original body paint of the car and spend upto lakh rupee...think well what will happen when the car got little scratches while going through conjusted roads while other car can touch your car or your can touch other car and get scratches...even a small dents or car get hit by something can ruin ppf what ever...so it's better not to do it...just repaint the area or repair is cheaper without any stress that entire ppf is got ruined due to small accidents...

I think, any type of coating on a car is a waste of money before 2-3 years there were nothing like ppf, detailing, ceramic etc. I will always spend 50k-40k on diesel or petrol and get the fun of driving 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄

FYI…Garware rejected maal nahi bechta. If any defect is found in the film during final quality checks, that portion is removed from the roll. This i know bcoz i have worked with Garware. Low cost chinese brands might be doing that.
Some of the 3M dealers are literally ripping of customers.... People think that they are getting 3m product applied on car but it's not.
If ppf is that important then owner of rolls Royace will do it first because if he can spend crores on it then he can spend 1 lakh on ppf...why only 17 lakh to 30 budget people goes after ppf ????? Whynot buying a rangrover, audi, bmw, Mercedes goes after ?????

Repaint u never know how the quality will be service station me paint booth bhi ni hota khi khi open me paint krte hai usme dust particles ajate hai aur agar dhang se na hi toh papdi ban kr bhi nikalta hai aur dhoop me khada krne ke bad fade bhi hojata hai!

I dont really think PPF is imp because agar itna imp hota toh BMW , Toyota ya koi bhi other companies daal ke deti. They research so much on paint u cant even imagine. 1-1.5 lakh PPF YA CERMIC COATING is a fraud. Paint ki guarantee hoti hai coating se guarantee khatam. Accha shiner aur acche se khud dho. Aap khud socho ek panni dhoop me kya hi haal karegi chahe kaisi bhi panni ho.
