I MESSED UP! The missile under the Lightning F.6 at Midlands is the Firestreak, not the later Red Top with the frontal locking capability I talked about. You can recognise them from each other by the Firestreak having a pointed nosecone while Red Top has a rounded nose, I am just an idiot. Please crucify me in the replies Koala out
i live in midlands and ive been there when they open up the cocpits . and you can go in them . . the hind 24 .is so tight. and the vulcan is unberliveable. a wicked day out if you love military aircraft
If i might suggest a further air museum to visit, RAF Cosford has a fantastic air museum with all 3 V bombers, an ME262, one of the TSR-2's and a further 3 hangars of aircraft its definitely worth a visit!
Cosford was on the list, but unfortunately I had to spend the day I HAD put aside for it revisiting the national archives in Kew for research purposes, so I missed out on that one. Did get a lot of footage from IWM Duxford though, including the TSR-2 there
@ArmorCast ah that's a shame, glad you could see a TSR-2 nonetheless, its my local museum and I only realised recently how bloody good of a museum it is, definitely worth a visit in the future if at all possible
Imperial War Museum Duxford is probably the best I’ve ever been to, MUUUCH bigger than this, with plenty of tanks as well as aircraft… but that’s usually really crowded, this place was bloody empty even when we got there!
@@ArmorCast The variety it had all lying around on a little patch of grass,, a Hind, a Tornado,,, Super Sabre.. Canberra.. Starfighter... Voodoo... Phantom... Meteor?! a VULCAN,... Pretty impressive collection for a little spot in the Midlands,
I'm planning a couple of videos talking about the changes that Gaijin have implemented as part of the economy rework roadmap, at least one should be out before the end of the month
I have heard that the basic concept for the English Electric Lighting was nicked from an Australian design. It was only the drawing board design stage and the English Gentleman that the Australians had placed in charge of aircraft development said that it was a waste of time and money so drop it, which the Australians did, and he then went home with the design schematics and then helped to produce the Lighting. Is there something to this, or is it just something that someone said?
@@ArmorCast Sir, I thank you for that, and I should have said that I found your presentation and the videos both entertaining and informative. Good luck with your future endeavours.
Nah, that’d be MONTHS outdated now. I decided not to bother making it after the short I posted about it got such a null response, seemed people just weren’t that interested in it
A few things, 1. These things are going to rust away in a few years if they don't get them inside. 2. Why such a long time since your last video? 3. I like the South African Rooikat, I think it's cute, too bad it has not seen combat anywhere. and 4. Your thoughts on the Ukranian BTR-4.
I gotta ask (🤓), why do the F-100D and the beat up F4 have the 1943-47 USAF roundel? Is it the post '47 variant and the red bar just faded or chipped off?
Decided not to go ahead with making it, since the short on it got so little attention from viewers. I don’t wanna put out stuff people aren’t interested in
Your comment on the skyflash being able to do a head-on lock is there any information or documents of this ? As I'm very interested in putting this information towards gijian
I actually reported this way back when Lightning was added! 😂 Didn’t seem to do any good, I guess they want to ignore that feature so they can balance the Lightning lower down

What an amazing display of aircraft from several eras - I've added it to my bucket list. Thanks for the tour!
Great to see you again!
Cheers mate, glad to be back!
the king has returned
Indeed he has
Here here!
Welcome back, you have been missed!!!

Must go back to that museum, not been for years. Was lucky enough to be able to go up inside the cockpit of the Vulcan.
Great museum! I went there a while back when they let people go in the vulcan, the thing has a surprisingly tall cockpit, I believe it has 2 levels.

OMG, finally. You logged back in!!!
I thought the Boddington Tank Museum was the coolest museum in the world but now I dunno... this is definitely giving it a run for the money,

What a great collection! Rains gonna get em though.
Great collection. A bit sad they are outside in the weather. But it would cost a fortune to house them inside.
It's just an CF-101B - all Canada's Voodoos were B models, and all twin seat all-weather interceptors.
Pretty crazy that they had the 1 of 1 P.111 experimental fighter
Finally another video!!
There was an RC outdoor track near there, not sure if it's still around though
what an awesome museum and fun little tour video! loved it! *cough* regular uploads again?? *cough*
Yup, “your Favorite tank sucks” episode 3 should be next, got it just about done, and then plenty more planned after that
@@ArmorCast let’s go!!! Fucken excellent to hear! You’ve been sorely missed!
THE LEGEND HAS RETURNED. he either listened to my comment in his latest short or he decided to come back🤣
We still need “The M1 Abrams Sucks”
Bro went MIA for months and then returns with a half-hour video, king
He lives! Huzzah!
Wait, you've been to the Adelaide museum?! Awesome they've just got a fa18
... ... ... I am now going back to the Adelaide museum.
@@ArmorCast there is a engine start day on October 15
Whenever our country's air force do fighter exercises, they would have Hawker Hunters as the OpFor
Interesting! Which country is that?
when are you uploading on the wt channel again

Can’t say it’s a story I’ve ever heard myself, but there might be some truth to it. I’ll have to have a look, see if I can find anything 👍

can we still expect the Chinese spyballoon video?

So my grandad told me a story of just before the vulcan was retire one managed to fly underneath him whilst he was in a glider madness

i have photos of the hind 24 . vulcan and others if you would like em

Where are the tanks? Why you flying away..
1958 F-4C? The faq?
Likely built as an F-4B model initially, possibly an LRIP model?
