I WAS LITERALLY JUST ABOUT TO COMMENT THAT 😭 i remember a while back the summer, in June, one of my little second cousins was eating her pizza in her chair. she’s like 3 or 4 years old. unrelated but she looked so little in that chair lol. anyway, i was simply eating my pizza on the other side of the kitchen when she began signaling w her little hand for me to go stand next to her. whenever i moved away to talk to other people, she kept calling for me and signaling AGAIN to go stand next to her. even when i wanted to walk away bc i been standing for hrs and wanted to sit down on the couch, she always had this little smile and had me go stand next to her and it wasn’t even to talk to me either. she just wanted me to stand next to her lol. she’s so precious. unfortunately her family moved a state away so it’s harder to see them now personally, i don’t have the patience anymore for kids long term. i like kids, i just can’t stand the kicking and screaming and entitlement when you say smth they don’t wanna hear
Right? Cherish that shit! I don’t have kids but my little brother is 15 years younger than me and he was sweet like this and now he is evil young adult and won’t even hug me 😭
I’m not a mom yet (really hoping to be one someday though) but I bet moments like him just asking you to sit next to him must make all the sacrifices worth it, you’re such an amazing parent
i work with kids and they alwaysss ask me to sit with them. it’s so sweet. half the time they don’t even wanna chit chat they just want me to be there 😭 love those little rats so much
Ooh have you tried it before and are they still good? I heard some foods aren’t freezer-friendly and someone once told me that bready things don’t freeze well 😮
@johannasweet1120 they've still been good when I have. I separate them with wax paper before freezing, and get as much air out of the freezer bag as possible. We use them up fairly quickly, so I can't say about the quality if they are frozen for more than a few weeks. It definitely makes mornings less stressful 🙂
I get it. Not a morning person myself, but I prefer early morning shifts at work so I can have the rest of my day for myself and my family. Might have to try this recipe cause I have a kid who loves both bananas and pancakes.

When I make pancakes I melt about a tablespoon or 1 1/2 tbs of butter and mix that into the pancake mix that is already prepared. I don’t even add anything to the non stick pan and they come out like the McDonald’s pancakes lol
Im not a morning person too. And I also use olive oil because it doesn’t make the pancakes stick when I’m making them for my siblings so, good choice 👍🏾

I feel like it might be better to decide what you’re going to make for breakfast the night before and then do it. Like, preparing pancake batter the night before and then just frying it up in the morning sounds a lot less tiring. Just a suggestion though.
Best thing that happened to this "non morning lover"..... Intermittent fasting. Means I'm not responsible for breakfast!!!!! I get to start cooking at 11. But my kids are old enough to fend for themselves for breakfast. Then I make the pancakes for lunch.🤣🤣🤣

How do Americans make such fluffy pancakes? I've tried different recipes, closing the pan with a lid, adjusting the amount of baking powder I use, using less batter.. but it's always the same result. Even if the outside is burnt, the inside is still uncooked and rubbery. I've never liked how my pancakes turned out. I've always made from scratch.

A lil pad of butter+ oil is top tier combo to cook. If you have shortening, even better bc you only need that.
