As a solo Q player who hit Masters today - I attribute a ton of my success in Unite to Jake and Krashy. I love the content, love the attitude, and love knowing a fellow “dad with a daughter who loves this game” is out there having a good time. Yeehaw!

the increased death time is my most frustrating catchup mechanic, there allot of times i'm litterally out of the game for a full 60seconds and all i can do is watch :p

Love this series. By the way everyone, have you all had issues with lag recently? Ping drops to red (top left) and I just rattle all around the map and lose the match because I literally cannot control what's happening! Proper annoying!
lags never to a point where i start teleporting around but input delay is always there. the constant frame drops in team fights are more annoying
It would be cool to see you play Mr. Mime. I don’t see a lot of gameplay for him.
Free to Play Master finally achieved. Got pretty salty at times, but we go there. Thanks for continuing the series. Hopefully you don't hit as big a wall as I did at Ultra 3. Owe a lot of ultra success to Mr. Mime and Ninetales.
that awkward moment at 21:36 when drednaw was pulled halfway into kansas and then this jake was surprised when it was taken 🤣🤣🤣. if this is jake 4 his power is clearly waning lol.
As a solo player myself I'm stuck in expert I'll win a few then just get paired with people who have no idea how to Play or afk the game then I end back up on great there needs to be a system that doesn't punish us solo players if the other players are bad or afk.
I would LOVE to see you rank up with Machamp. He's the next one I wanna buy next. I find him terrifying when he comes out of the jungle into my lane.
Feel what you said at the start of the second match. Been watching all your videos, but haven’t played that much. I’m stucked in expert rank with a lot of people that don’t know what they do.
Great video, love this series, don't worry about being mean to the other players, I wouldn't say you're that rude to them, I've seen unite youtubers acting much worse. As for what Pokémon to spend those coins on, I'd love to see some Talonflame
@spragels you should get somebody who can play multiple roles. I'd subjust an all rounder cause you can carry but it isn't to popular a role. Specificly I recomend going shell smash X-scizzor Crustle and playing him as an all rounder. just last hit with your abilities steal early farm and then steal Zapdos if you need. Crustle stealing Zapdos is a big part of how I ranked up early cause it's so free. you just shell smash in with good timing and X-scizzor Zapdos and nobody stuns you for some reason. using his unite helps as well.
I'm enjoying this series. Keep it up! Mr. Mime can be terrifying if you play them well. Could be fun to see. It has such a different play style than many others.

Machamp is brutal. It's fun flipping people over your back and then just punching them in the face. You can team wipe with the Ult if you can catch them all in it.

I think a good defender for when you’ll be in ultra with more skilled players, you could better filled the team. Snorlax or Blastoise would be my choice.

For what it's worth I never see you collect your daily reward for the "fair play points" it's kind of hidden since there isn't a notification. It's just 20 coins, if you're trying to show maximum free play value it will eventually add up or compound with other free coins.

Absol would be a lot of fun to watch… seeing those huge crits on pursuit us always great. Also machamp… I never see you pick machamp and I think he is really fun to watch since he can move around so fast with cross chop and submission.
This is free but I’d love to see you use Crustle. I’ve heard it’s good in low ranks because of its Defence with Offence combo, and would like to see it showcased more
Climbing faster than me, I’ve been playing since week 2 or 3 (gengar wasn’t nerfed yet) and I’ve only just got into Ultra 2

It may be a dumb question but how do you create several profiles for pokemon unite? Do you only need to use another switch profile? I tried that but then the game asked me to link to the Nintendo account so I was afraid it could make a mess with my other unite profile 😅

Mr. Mime and Talonflame would be really interesting to see since mime plays quite differently than the other supporters and well Talon would be just cool to see how you would handle him with jungle or Lane
Day 4 was like premature ejac. Short, yet enjoyable.
I'd love to see some mime or absol gameplay, tho honestly I'd lean towards mike as it seems to have huge untapped potential
I vote for you to pick up Mr. Mime. He's a Pokemon that I really like and personally find fun to use, but he is a little challenging, and I know you've said you don't think you're very good with him, so it'd be cool to see you learn him in this series!

I think Blastoise for a defender option is good and it’s your favourite, or you can claim the free Crustle and go something fun like Garchomp or Machamp
I think the reason newer player prioritize rotom is because the tutorial shows rotom as a mini Zapdos while free is grouped in with bouflant and ludicolo

Go for Mr Mime! As you often say, you never use it because you don't know how to properly play it. But I'm sure you'd enjoy mastering him since it's actually so good!

I think Absol would be great to easily climb the ranks cause a good Absol early puts your level beyond the moon. And keep up the great content

I think I did in the last video. Upgraded them to 10
Although I know you said you’re familiar with them, I think a Snorlax, Crustle, or Blastoise would be good since you don’t have any defenders really, and you can “fill” your teams better when you get out of some of the sloppy Great matches. I had a REALLY tough time in Great until recently. I’m finally in Expert and mostly using either a defender if everyone picked attackers or jungle/gank bottom lane combo Zera/Cinder/Absol. Whichever feels best.

I pulled 2 talonflame pilot skins back to back and it was pretty sick cuz now I got the skin and 88 holowear tickets for any future skins that r cool
The same thing happened to me so now I got the talonflame unite card but don't have a skin I want to exchange for.

Great concept. I can hardly wait to see you going through higher ranks such as expert :). Problem is I dont think you have enough time to climb to masters before the end of the season. Also, I dont think the free to play is worth to be mentionned because the game is not a pay to win. It gives you for free more than enough currency to update three items at level 20 (buddy b, focus and muscle b). And it s what 90% of players have done. For me the difficulty of this marathon lies more in the fact that you are trying to do that in solo more than one month after the release when theran’ing and matchmaking are a mess. I feel like, compared to somebody who started the game at launch, it is now almost impossible to go to masters in solo queue. This game is a circus now.
The third game wasn't too sloppy for you. It was actually pretty solid game.
Oh btw, X Attack is really cool because it increases your attack power

I think you should buy machop because 1. You said you didn't play him much 2. He's all-rounder which is everyone needs to play like to get anything done in lower ranks and 3. I kinda have no idea where machop fits in the meta so it'd be cool to know how to use it and stuff.
but honestly any pokemon works in lower rank as long as you know the basics lol

I'd like to see Mr mime! I never see game play with him. Also, I'm new to MOBAs currently am veteran rank 3. Can someone tell me why it's bad to secure dred before zap? I never knew that!
It's because for 90 seconds after killing Zapdos (which tends to overlap with after killing the 3rd drednaw ) you do like 55% less damage to Zapdos, which gives the enemy a much easier time to steal Zapdos, so it's VERY bad, especially if you're winning. You do normal damage to enemies and wild pokemon. Wigglytuff Unite move removes the debuff.
I'd like you to take absol, i think you can carry with him
Alrighty as a big fan, who like many attributes their master rank to your vids, I think you should pick up one of the better all arounders in lucario or machamp. The reason is that on your new account you have carries and speedsters all ready and on your main account you fill a lot of defender and supporter. Though maybe you stream lucario a lot, I don’t know your stream schedule and seem to miss you a lot

Your first game consists of 1 veteran and 2 expert rank players. So weird that there are 4 players at the top in the beginning. They should know what to do in the game at that rank.^^;
I think you should save up and get mamoswine, but if not then get maybe Gengar or absol
I truly think that ether Mr.Mime or Gardevour would be the best choice for you
It's obviously way too late for this, but you could have used the coins to buy Crustle, since you get the coins back after hitting Trainer Level 13.
Just fyi, I did have a bot match today in ultra 2, so it's a thing for sure in ranks higher than great at least

I'm sitting here at Vet3 just bouncing because my teammates seem to have no concept of objectives. Or teammates who refuse to give up their choice of lane and we have 3 speedsters all fighting for the jungle. Infuriating.

I’m right there with you. The climb to vet was easy, but I’ve been stuck there for awhile. Got all the way to my promo match to ultra and now I’m back down to vet 4 with no diamonds
