The second Hao showed up I almost burst into tears! The way it animates the train is so beautiful and seeing Matamune remembering Hao and smiling as he sees Yoh is just amazing ahhhh my heart!
Yes it is, im a little sad, i wish the whole series looked like this, the openings have horrible visuals, the episodes are better but no this good, everything is so tasteful, the lightning, edting, rythm!!
This ending tells a whole, heartbreaking story in less than two minutes. The inclusion of the luminous birds, the train, Heian! Hao alone with Matamune... It's beautiful.
This is such a simple ending. With a simple smile emerging from complexed recollections…for those who understand, this is as deep as the simplicity..it is the heart within hearts of SK… it really makes me wish more ppl could get to know about SK. It’s a very deep anime, it’s not mainstream, it’s the blossom of quality souls and an elegantly high state of mind.
If studio like madhouse did it people would definitely see it the studio which adoptted it just improved the quality and fights were just stills so people lost interest in watching this remake

The 3rd ending is now giving a melancholic and somber feeling on what's to come in the series with the Ozorezan arc coming up due to Matamune's appearance and his relationship with Hao Asakura along with Yoh and Anna Koyama's childhood, and especially during the climax when the Soul Train comes into play.😢😢 I even got emotional when Matamune starts crying but then smiles when he sees Hao before he turns into Yoh.🥲

Fell in love with this ending the second it came out. This ending always reminded me of my late cat, Taro, since I watched SK series with him on my lap. He died several episodes after Mt. Osorezan, so I didn't get to continue watching SK cos it always reminded me of him. He was my Matamune, and that scene of him with Hao kind of reflected how we used to be and how it would've been when we finally meet again. Grateful to know that my favorite manga and my favorite being tied up in one simple video💜
I read Shaman King more than ten years ago and I'm currently watching the anime reboot for the first time. I absolutely love this part of the story and couldn't wait to reach it, but I didn't expect such an amazing ending and didn't think it would make me cry so much. I'm so glad they dedicated an ending to Matamune, and I sincerely love it ❤
So it begins. The beautiful arc "Osorezan Revoir". I hope that we'll see Matamune's poem at the end of this arc as a new ed. At least for one episode. I need to hear Megumi's voice.
I think it's partially inspired by a japanese fairy tale called "Night on the Galactic Railroad" by Miyazawa Kenji (a super cute and depressing tale about two kids taking this train in the sky and visiting all the whimsical stops on the road) but your comment is way funnier, it made me laugh lol
You could tell Matamune was sad that Hao couldn't live a life renewed through reincarnating but once he met Yoh (Hao's Good Twin Reincarnation) he could tell that Yoh didn't have Hao's pain, anger, and memories. He was the renewed good reincarnation of Hao. Its really funny how life and chance screwed Hao's plan but also it showed Hao what he could have been if he had let go of those things.
Because of this, I realized I am not ready for Matamune and Hao's backstories. 😭 And the train, THAT TRAIN! Esp towards the ending of the series. Only manga readers will get it. 😭

Okay, now that I've kinda recovered from tears, some things I've noticed: 1) This is the first time ever we have a male voice to sing a Shaman King op/ed, including the first anime. And is also the first time there are only men in a ed, usually it is a space dedicated to the women of the show and in particular Anna. 2) The train running in space is probably a reference to "Night on the Galactic Railroad", a fairytale written and published in 1934 by Miyazawa Kenji (it's one of my favorite tales ever, read it if you can please). It's the story about two boys, Giovanni and Campanella, traveling in a mysterious train that crosses the Milky way. In one episode in particular there were... white cranes, I think? That turn into sugar if you catch them..? Don't remember this part well, anyway here instead of the cranes we have the mysterious birds of the op/ed from the first anime. And 3) but Spoiler alert: . . . . . . Y'all who read the manga probably already noticed, but this the train to Aomori, when Yoh and Matamune go visit Anna at Mount Osore 😭
@@JusaWanderer I did a bit of research and now I'm sure that's 100% it, because the book the cat is reading in the manga and presumably in this ed as well is in fact Night on the Galactic Railroad, I just found it, page 64 of volume 19 of the manga.
Night on The Galactic Railroad has been on my TBR for ages. I feel like it'll punch me in the gut once I read it. Nonetheless, I hope to get to it before the final battle is animated- as a way to join the train ride, so to speak.

20年前、小学生だった私は、今は息子とシャーマンキングを一緒に見てます。私より先に息子が、『お母さん、もうすぐシャーマンキング始まるよ！』って、声をかけてくれてます。息子と2人でマタムネをテレビで拝見できると思うと本当に嬉しいです。恐山ル・ヴォワールは、私の青春でした。それを息子と共有できると思うと感動です。sajiさんの曲もピッタリでテレビ見てたらウルウルしてしまいました。本当に感謝です。

かげきしょうじょの星のオーケストラもよかったけどこのハヅキは切なくマタムネがハオ様と葉の重なった所が凄く好き。
ずっとどうコメントしようか悩んでいました。ED映像を観ただけで泣き、車の中で初めてこの曲のフルを聞いた時ボロボロ涙が溢れて、ここまで大泣きしたのは本当何年ぶりかってくらいの出来事でした。
20年前からシャーマンキング原作の大ファンで、特に恐山編は私の人生かけて傘をさしてくれたような、そんなお話で、様々な重要なテーマのあるこの恐山編からマタムネの心情を選んで曲を作ってくださったSajiさんの素晴らしい洞察力と心沁みるメロディにとても感動しています。このハヅキという楽曲をマンキンを通して生んでくださったことに心から感謝でいっぱいです。恐山編とこの歌がたくさんの人の目と耳に届いていきますように。

I'll never understand why people complain about the fights being static. Jojo's fights are just as static but no one says anything about that.

Dios el nuevo opening fue muy bueno, pero este ending es demasiado conmovedor, me saco las lagrimas al instante, y parece que no fui el único, después de todo este es un personaje cuyo arco solo los conocemos aquellos que leímos el manga, y por ello no puedo evitar preguntarme si este ending tuvo este efecto como evitaremos morir deshidratados cuando yoh sienta la presencia de matamune en el infierno, dios solo de pensarlo mis ojos comienzan a humedecerse
