OFFICER OF THE YEAR 👮

Next week is National Police Week and we are celebrating by recognizing League City Police Department’s Officer of the Year. Officer Drew Duarte recently received the award for her positive attitude, strong work ethic, and leadership.
Some of Officer Duarte's notable achievements in 2023 include her commitment to public safety by performing life-saving measures at a major accident scene and securing Intoxication Manslaughter charges against the suspect for the incident. Additionally, her swift action and collaboration with neighboring agencies resulted in felony charges in a shots fired incident which occurred in League City. Officer Duarte's keen investigative skills were also pivotal in solving a murder case, showcasing her invaluable contributions to the community and the department.
